Just updates to the PIWIS for existing ones from Santirx. I.e. side mirrors (Kombiinstrument , Bordcomputer Menukonfiguration, Siegel einklappen -> aktiv)

I need to hook up the PIWIS II that I have and start poking around. There are some nuances with the PIWIS and F keys to hit between the settings that I am not sure how to capture that in the excel.

Great tip from Santirx to use the real-time google translate while in the German only E (engineering) mode for programming. Also never put your PIWIS II in P mode.

I have the PSE retrofit and LED retrofit PIWIS steps. Hard to add those to an excel. 3rd row vent enabling probably super obscure.

I am looking for the programming information for how to disable the rear hatch beeping/warning when opening and closing (very annoying). I have reviewed and searched many threads on this site and I fully understand the setting is actually a volume level (not an on/off field), however I have no idea where it is located (module and name).

I have modified other settings using my Launch X431 (nice gear), so I assume the setting is accessible with it.

Does anyone have this programming information?

And yes, I also understand the dealer can perform this for me, but I would rather not hassle with it, as my Macan is brand new and should not be at the dealer for quite some time.

Thanks

@engenity: A little searching would have located the information you seek in the Hidden Features thread.

Another approach is to simply unplug the connector to the little speaker located inside the rear lid.

Merging the threads...

Scroll down in this post for the exact x431 settings:

Thank you for merging the threads. Sorry I missed this one, as I did spend time looking around for it.

The spreadsheet that has been put together is great!

Probably everyone knows this, but when inside sideview mirror housing I found puddle lights. Leave lighting switch on auto and voila!

What magic chariot do you have? My '18 does not have such a feature.
It’s a 2015 S. No lighting in vanity mirrors or lower door reflectors. I just thought it was a place with clear plastic on the underside of the mirror. Never have used auto function on light switch, being Mr. old school. Had the mirror housing off and found wiring going to bottom. Did a little research and Bob’s your uncle

Guess I have to trade my car in for this feature.
Ha, ha. i love my car. Currently I’m adding LCA, just a few steps away from completion, hope it works. Then retrofitting door puddle lights. I wouldn’t trade even for a new one. She’s been my labor of love the past 2 years. We have bonded. Just pray she doesn’t get wrecked or stolen

Just checked underside of my mirror housing ….I have this….never noticed it before ….and I changed out to sequentials, Lol.

Where do you enable this ??
Thx

This is part of the 2015-2016 Comfort Lighting Package which appears to be optional on our 2016 Turbo build sheet at $325 (see my build sheet linked to p code in my signature). The only thing this package does not convert to LED are Door Puddle (Position) lights so I had to get them after market (VW LED lights) and then it is a complete LED package. Exterior Mirror lights turn on when light switch is in Auto as part of the so called Welcome Home feature where you can program how long the exterior lights stay on. I have used this since day one after reading the manual.

What is Porsche Comfort lighting package?
The comfort lighting package comprises dimmable ambient lighting in the door panels, LED lights in place of bulbs, practical LED reading lights for the rear passengers, two vanity lights, additional courtesy lighting in both exterior mirrors and LED illumination of the footwells.
