Let's see some of YOUR favs. I think the optimum wheel size for the Macan is 21" at most... 20 or 21's would look perfect, whereas 22 would probably be a bit too big.
Here are some rims I like & some websites of some good companies. Feel free to click the links below & enter the subcategories then save & post any pics of rims you think would look good on the Macan!
edit-Forget the colour of the rim in the picture. ALL rims come in silver, black, and chrome. Just looking for the actual style of the rim. Personally, I'm looking for black rims for my white Macan & any rim that is in silver below also comes in black which is great. I just posted a bunch of different options.

Nobody seems to run hre on sponsored race vehicles of any sort, or private teams. I see them as marketing bling only. any wheel good enough for rally or f1 or touring car and costing less than hre made it an easy choice.

21 21" Turbo Design Set
Price: $7,495.00
21 21" Sport Classic Set
Price: $6,395.00
21 21" Sport Classic Set (Platinum)
Price: $6,895.00
21 21" Sport Classic Set (Black)
Price: $7,450.00

These are prices of wheels sets from a very popular porsche parts dealer, are there plenty of aftermarket options cheaper. Sure there is are there some that cost more sure there is. I know if you option thes when you buy your Macan it is only half the price of the numbers above, but that is because they already charged you 3k for the 18 or 19 that come standard. Buy what ever makes you happy, that is all that really matters.

@ccsmoker - I paid $2300 for the 18' BBS, Pirelli winters, valves and TPMS set, including shipping and taxes. Rims and rubber alone were under $1900

The 18" standard from Porsche does not fit the Turbo so we opted for 21" and get cheap 18" aftermarket winters that fit. Besides the 21" 911 Turbos are half priced if you order with the car.

Anyone know where the mods moved the GMP lowered Macan thread that was posted on the main forum?

Cross-post from another thread...but thought I'd share the images.

I got the new BBS 20" Macan wheels in black. They're 9" wide up front, 10.5" in the rear. I think they look very nice.
Nice wheels. I'm thinking about getting the same (probably in a different finish) when I get my car in April. How much did they cost? Did you get them from tirerack?

Also, I see that on the back you don't have the splash guard. There is a small plastic part that you should install if you have 20"+ wheels. Suncoast has the OEM guards for Macan.

I have seen a few people put 22" x 10.5" ET30 in front and rear. In the rear they use a 15mm spacer. Is this so they can order the same wheels and rotate or are there rear brake clearance issues.

My intent would be to get 22 x 10.5 ET30 in front and 22 x 10.5 ET15 rear so the rear would be more concave.

I know 22s isn't the best performance wheel size.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

based on your intent, the front wheel would have extended out by +15mm and the rear would have retracted -5mm inwards. To make it uniform, a 15mm or 20mm spacer for the rear is required.

Actually, the front of using 22 * 10.5 is too wide. Based on the calculation (compared to OEM 21 * 9 ET 26), there is lesser -23mm clearance to the strut/supspension component. It may be an issue with steel spring suspension, probably ok for air suspension

Are there black Porsche center caps available with a monochrome crest?

@solonor2011 Thanks for the comments. I made a deal with my dealership regarding the wheel upgrade, since I bought a Macan S off the lot (another customer's cancellation) and it had 18" wheels from the factory. I believe the wheel and tire package just over $4k total, and the dealership ordered the wheels directly from BBS Germany.
@ACW I'm sure they look great on the Turbo. The BBS folks asked my dealership to take pictures of the completed installation, because BBS hadn't had any put on Macans yet. I guess they were wrong! :)

I think BBS should upload your pics onto their website as example of possible fitments.

I was actually deciding to either order 18 inch stock wheels on the Macan order and get aftermarket BBS OR go for RS spyders and order the bBS winter SR wheels. decided on the RS spyders. I think either way the Macan looks great :D.

I think I was one of the first people with them as tire rack didn't have a winter in stock for them when I ordered in the summer. Here is a pic the day I put them on.

Well, the time has come to make a decision if I will paint my rims gloss black! I have the stock 21's and my shop can do it in a 3 day turnaround time. $400 all in... Wondering if it would make my car look better, or 'worse'. I honestly LOVE the way the stock 21's look. They are so well put together, have such a beautiful contrast of silver/grey and I really think it would be such a shame to ruin such a nice rim. Im worried it wont look as good in gloss black, BUT I could be wrong.. What are your thoughts?!?!?!

(I know the pic of the black 21 is from a Cayenne, to get the idea as they are pretty similar)

Beautiful wheels but in my opinion better suited for a lower profile , sleeker car like the Bimmer pictured. I think they lack a little aggressiveness or masculinity if you will, that pairs well with the likes of a Macan.

I like the wheels for a car not a CUV or and SUV.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports

Hey guys great thread here! I was looking to get 20x10.5 wheels on all four corners so I can put on some 315-35-20 pilot super sports on there. I know it will fit in the rear axle but not sure about the front. Also would you guys know what offset to have on them? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone actually mounted a 315-35-20 on the rear of their Macan and know if it works and what offset would be required?

I am looking into having my 21" turbos painted shortly after delivery but I would love to see an example before I take the plunge.

Are you guys thinking gloss or matte? Leaning towards gloss.

This is on a white S.

Having intricately detailed gloss black wheels on my Evoque currently I have to say they are very hard to keep clean and scratch free. The scratches obviously are prevented with careful cleaning. The brake dust is extremely apparent, however and requires constant upkeep. Given the detail of the turbo wheels, you will have a much more difficult time cleaning without scratching. If you want less pain, go with matte black as it will easily hide brake dust and it looks just a stunning. The only times you will notice gloss over matte is in direct sun when the wheels have the opportunity to shine. Otherwise they appear matte in shade or low-light conditions.

Here are a few shots on Autogespot - the first one may just be a dirty gloss black hehe:

Obviously a Cayenne - but you get the idea of gloss on white:

Thanks for starting this thread. Let me know what you decide to do and if you have picture. My Jet Black Macan S should be arriving any day now. It's jet black with black window trip, roof rails, side blades, and black leather interior. I bought the 21' 911s instead of the classics (spokes are too wide, don't like them) and my plan is to either leave as is, paint them (not sure if gloss or matt), or buy the GTS rims that the Cayannes have. I'm ultimately going for the black on black look you see with the Cayenne GTS with the diamond ring around the black rims.

Best.
