Let's see some of YOUR favs. I think the optimum wheel size for the Macan is 21" at most... 20 or 21's would look perfect, whereas 22 would probably be a bit too big.
Here are some rims I like & some websites of some good companies. Feel free to click the links below & enter the subcategories then save & post any pics of rims you think would look good on the Macan!
edit-Forget the colour of the rim in the picture. ALL rims come in silver, black, and chrome. Just looking for the actual style of the rim. Personally, I'm looking for black rims for my white Macan & any rim that is in silver below also comes in black which is great. I just posted a bunch of different options.

After reading tons of reviews on other forums, researching online for weeks, and having too much whiskey one Saturday night- I ordered a full custom set of 2 piece forged wheels… through Alibaba!

Take a gander

21”x10.5 ET15 hub centric (square set up)
Brushed bronze finish
black hardware
…still don’t know what the center cap will look like HA!

I inquired on several listings, stated my wheel specifications and finish, had some vendors reach out- and eventually found the best deal with a highly reviewed manufacturer.

Image

$2800 shipped. Yes- all 4 wheels and oversea air shipping included.
For that price, I figured why not?

The design process was a lot of picture messaging back and forth (often in broken English and repetitive clarification on simple details) of the design I want, and a million finishes that I hoped they could get close to… he final design was setand I paid the 50% down to start production.

Image

Currently- I am in that limbo period, waiting for the first pictures of the raw forged faces being cut this week.

Image

The vendor has provided relevant updates to this point, but the actual faces/barrels are still being machined and finished. So no pictures for my final approval and shipment…

As this adventure unfolds in dramatic anticipation, I will provide updates here for those who care to see if I actually get a set of wheels and what they will actually look like. 🙃

* side bar*
Ordered a custom carbon steering wheel too because it was $400 shipped… (no LED strip though)

Hey guys I'm looking at potentially picking up some wheels from a guy locally and he had them on a different vehicle so the tire sizes aren't the usual size we run on our Macans. The fronts are 255/30/22 and the rears are 315/25/22. Would it be ok to run those on the Macan or would you no and get some different tires more fitted for the Macan?

Thanks

They "may" work, but will be about 1" smaller in diameter from the stock sizes.

Need advice from everyone. I'm looking at some MSW 50 wheels in gloss black. Discount tire shows online that it will fit the macan. They reached out to their vendor who said they couldn't guarantee fitment. It's a 9x21 wheel for the fronts and 10.5x21 for the rears. Correct bolt pattern, center bore etc. Discount tire said there system says it should fit but since the vendor couldn't guarantee it they won't be able to provide me a refund if they don't fit. I went to OZ wheels website and used there configuration system and it says that the wheel does fit. So does a UK website called performance alloys also. Do you think I should be good in pulling the trigger or would you hesitate?

They turned out pretty good! Look amazing, and are very lightweight compared to stock.

ONE MASSIVE HANGUP - they are the wrong diameter
I don’t know how that could even happen, given the entire design and ordering process… but they owned up to the mistake and we worked out a solution.

Regardless, I just finished my coilover install- and will get tires/alignment/rideheight all sorted.

**I will be selling this set of wheels and tires within the next few months, once my corrected set arrives.

DM me if interested.

Hi all,

I have an opportunity to pick up a set of 22’s with these specs.

22x9 front et15 - 265x35x22
22x10.5 rear et20 - 295x30x22

I currently have OEM 21’s and soon to be lowered on H&R springs. I have gone on the wiltheyfit site that was recommended and though the overall diameters are different it seems like they should fit.

On this thread alone I have seen wheels in 21’s with specs similar to these.

21” TSW Nurburgring
9” front et25, 10.5” rear, et32
265/40 and 295/35

21x9 +15mm
21x10x5 +15mm

HRE
F: 21”x10”, ET20, 265/40/21
R: 21”x11", ET15, 295/35/21

Rohana:

22x9 front et20 265x35x22
22x10.5 rear et20 - 295x30x22

I have also seen specs that are more agressive in width but not offset so I wanted to do one final check before making the purchase.

Thank you.

Picked up a set of wheels this week, and can’t wait to get them installed!! Deciding whether to lower and which way, springs or full coilovers. Will post pics once done. Guess we’ll have to be more active on here, and not just read.

Ok guys, i've been learning A LOT about offsets, wheels widths, measurements and more.
I will post here my research in terms of measurements ( offsets ) for the perfect set up ( to my eyes lol ) on 22"s 10" FRONT and 11" REAR

My plan is to custom order the wheels ( TURBO GT STYLE ) I want to stay on the OEM+ look.

For this first image i am using the OEM Specs on the 20's BUT with the 12 and 15mm spacers ( FR/RR ) which based on a post that was shared to me, on OEM tires seems to be the perfect offset for the TIRE WALL - FENDER flushness look. So, intending to pursue that look i am using the calculations below

Image

On this next 2 you can view the calculations for tire sizes and comparisons to OEM ( FRONT ) Vs 285/35/22 which is the tire size i will go after on 10" for the front.

This is the same comparison for the rear OEM Vs 11"

Please let me know your thoughts as this is the first time i will order CUSTOM wheels instead of just buying OEM Replicas but larger sizes.

Let me know what you think, my '23 Macan T is lowered on Flat6 fixed lowering links.

He does, but he is also on 21's and 11.5" not 11.

going 11.5 changes the offset totally as you need to cover the extra quarter inch coming out on the wheel/tire ( offset speaking )

I wanted to do 9.5 front BUT the offset calcs were weird specially with tire size ( as i wanted wider tires ) so i decided to go 10" and with 285 as its a more popular size which drives tire costs down as well.

A wheels diameter and width is measured bead to bead. So a 22x10 is actually 23x11. This is accounting for the .5" lip/bead that goes around the entire wheel and on both sides. A 275 tire is 10.82" wide, depending on the tire brand you pick, the section width may be slightly wider. So it should not have much stretch.

I didn't weigh them but with the tire on wheel they were pretty dang light and definitely lighter than stock but no clue by how much. It was noticeable with the rears especially.

Coilovers are great, keeping same height and specs.

I went 20x9.5 and 20x10.5 on the 265/45 and 295/40 I went with the 30mm spacer to get me the same spacing to the fender as a +10mm spacer would be on the stock fitment. Perfect sidewall.

With the unlimited lineup you pick your concavity 0-3 and there's 10 different bolt patterns and widths to choose from all based on a wheel spacer. There's centering rings that go hub to adapter and then into the wheel to adapter.

Here's a video:

This setup is a game changer and with BBS eliminating the OEM route I'm sure more styles will come out as they focus on aftermarket. It makes resale on these wheels very good too because someone only needs to buy hub centering rings and new spacers through BBS to get a fitment for their car, obviously barring overall diameter.

I discovered the unlimited because I went to BBS looking for 10mm wheel spacers, since I refuse to buy anything h&r, and these literally just came out.

Pretty sure I'm the first Macan with these based on my conversation with BBS.

Just finished with the install and oil change while it was in the air. It's sitting a little higher than normal right now since it's been in the air and I did not go drive it. The fitment is exactly what I was looking for.

I can't wait to see how good it looks out in the sun, the bronze changes color like the chalk depending on the lighting.
That's a great looking combo! The Unlimited concept is interesting. On one hand, it seems like a lot of extra hardware that's typically not seen on an OEM or high end wheel setup, but on the other hand, it's BBS and I know they would only have quality and tested stuff backed up by their reputation. It's definitely attractive for someone like me who likes to change up wheels from time to time.

Looking forward to the settled, outside shots!

Rain letup and it dried enough for me to head outside, although the suspension hasn't settled have some pics :)
The look with chalk is amazing. I initially thought they looked similar to your OE rims but after looking back at the photo, it's a huge difference. I can even see the slight width increase in the tire profile from the side view. Those spacers with the inset threads are very cool, I've never seen anything like that.

You now have me thinking if I should go to the bronze family for my 20" GT reps.

Nope, zero point in doing one. No adjustability in the front and the rear barely changes when lowering. If there was any adjustability I would've asked for negative camber, front and rear, over the stock values as well.

If you search the forums you'll find a myriad of people's alignment paperwork, @BMinSFL actually posted his in his lowering thread, and you can see it doesn't change much.
