Let's see some of YOUR favs. I think the optimum wheel size for the Macan is 21" at most... 20 or 21's would look perfect, whereas 22 would probably be a bit too big.
Here are some rims I like & some websites of some good companies. Feel free to click the links below & enter the subcategories then save & post any pics of rims you think would look good on the Macan!
edit-Forget the colour of the rim in the picture. ALL rims come in silver, black, and chrome. Just looking for the actual style of the rim. Personally, I'm looking for black rims for my white Macan & any rim that is in silver below also comes in black which is great. I just posted a bunch of different options.

Not only they are of inferior quality and hard to balance, I would bet that they would be a lot heavier. My best guess is more than 8lbs per wheel for 21" cast vs forge (my aftermarket 20" bmw wheel weighed 38 lbs vs my 21" Macan turbo design wheel at 30 lbs). Handling and performance would be severely impacted, in addition to being unsafe to drive on. That would be like driving an X5 instead of the Macan. I wouldn't do it if it was free even.

Thanks for the link. Maybe I'm better off economically just having the tires changed over twice a year.

I know everything else being equal a narrower tire will be better in the snow, but I have a strong preference for the look of the 21's, and on the X5 with 275's on the front and 315's in the rear, with decent winter tires it was much better in the snow then I expected, even on a steep unpaved driveway with 20 inches of unplowed snow. Plus I'll have newly balanced tires every 6 months.

Generally I don't like the idea of switching over tires twice a year as the rims tend to get scratched, but through Tire Rack's installer program I did find a one man shop who seems to be pretty careful, plus he will do the changeover for under $100. He doesn't have the most modern balancing equipment but he seems to get the job done.

There's another garage very close to my house that's noted for working on high end cars and they have one of the Hunter 9700 Road Force Balance machines, but twice they have scratched my wheels installing tires for me, plus they charge considerably more.

Why don't you just buy a set from Tire Rack? Maybe buy the wheels first, then tires later, if you're worried about spending a lot at one time. Mounting snow and summer tires on the same rims seems like a lot of work, plus increases the odds of scratches.

Simply because I like the look of the OEM 21" turbo wheels.

Just placed my order for the 4 cylinder macan but when the dealer placed the order they said that the RS spyder wheels are on extreme back order! Anyone have any recommendations for a similar rim or have and experience with the RS replicas?

If you know you want upgraded wheels do it at purchase, not after. They're much more expensive to add after the fact. Also request summer performance tires, which are a free option.

Pick whatever wheels you like. I think the sport classics are quite nice.

For aftermarkets, HRE is having a sale on flowform wheels. I bought a set of 20" FF15 in Tarmac black. Still waiting for the tires. Below is the wheel. You can see them on an S on HRE's website.

Honestly, the FF01 is closer to the RS Spyder.

BTW I bet the RS Spyder is such low supply because they're making the black ones an exclusive on the GTS.

There are a set of 20 HRE FF15 wheels in black for sale here. They're not 21 but they're $3k which is a huge bargain (tires, spacers included).

I have these on my Macan and they look fantastic and pretty substantial. Not sure you'd miss the extra inch... And your spine will thank you for the extra air cushion.

I took advantage of that sale for my FF15. However with tires, TPMS, spacers the price was still more than $1k more than the ones for sale. There are only 2 styles of FF wheels, so if you like black FF15, go for the used ones posted here.

I currently have 20 inch wheels, I'm seriously considering 21s. Can someone check my math here? Taking into consideration the wheel size increase and the side wall size decrease for OE tires the total wheel gap loss will be 7.8 mm....Can anyone confirm?

If you put spacers on your wheels, spread a thin coat of anti-seize compound on the spacers inner side. Makes them a lot easier to remove later. And don't forget proper longer bolts.

Very nice! Did you take advantage of Savini doing custom offsets? What offsets did you end up with?
