Hey Bull Market, Your winter running shoes looks great, OMG with a fantastic Canadian price. Do you think I can get a deal close to yours at premiertire this year with the same configure? I have a 2016 Macan S.

Or alternative that I can buy from Pfaff for a 5 spokes winter rims, tpms & tires at $3195 installed which is not too bad?

New to the forums and close to pulling the trigger on a MY 17 :) My SA suggests 18" winter tires/rims instead of 19", and the dealership has a set available for about $2900. Since I don't put on much mileage during the winter, I'd rather save some $ there and put towards 20" wheels for summer. Apart from aesthetics, any major reasons to go 19" instead of 18" for winter?

Generally the recommendation is a smaller winter tire than summer tire. My plan is the 19" Macan Turbo wheels with summer tires, and 18" for winter. Part of the 18" winter selection is tire and rim availability, at least last fall. From what I could see the 19" packages were way more expensive than the 18's, and unexpectedly, more than the 20's. It may be a factor of how many make the rubber and wheels in that size.

I ordered another set for winter, 19", from my dealer with the order of my car. You get (a bit) cheaper price when you order with a new car. I wish it can be cheaper, but with free tire storage and installation for one season. That is not too too bad I assume but still wish it to be cheaper.

Did you get your winter rims/tires yet?

I asked Jp from downtown Toronto and he said it's better to wait for September October to buy them since they are out if stock.

Where did you get yours?

I'm planning on getting the 19" sport classic silver $6,432

Any suggestions?

I think I may have posted this previously but did not get a reply. Sorry for the duplication. I'm researching pricing and availability for aftermarket 19" winter wheels.

Has anyone bought aftermarket wheels with the right width and offset without using hub centric rings or spacers?

If I understand correctly the OEM wheel stats are:
Front: 8 J x 19 RO 21 66.5 hubs (for 235/55 R 19 tyres)
Rear: 9 J x 19 RO 21 66.5 hubs (for 255/50 R 19 tyres)

Thanks.

Mine is hub centric and no spacers
Thanks @bobblehead. Do I have the theory right that if the rims are wider, you want to get the centreline of the new rims to match the centreline of the OEM rims to give neutral wear and steering geometry. It looks like with the wider rims and reduced offsets these rims are pretty darn close according to my sketchy knowledge of the topic. (They look good too!).

some forum members here recommended www.premiertire.ca .

I have been communicating with Carmen there about a couple of options for the Macan.
For 18" winter rims he has the DAI Renn DW75 wheels and the Replika R182 wheels (from Montreal). and a few rubber options.

tell him Arnold sent you!

We are at that time of year again....any GTA Tireshops that have good rep in getting rims/tires set for Macan GTS? My tire guy told me to go to Tirerack and ship it to him.

Any suggestions?
Pickering Tire N' Mag, ask for Allan... Both me and my friend bought our winter sets there.. Knock-off 20" chrome spyders with N0 Pirelli Winter Scorpions and TPMS for a fraction of what Porsche wants. The knockoffs are top notch too!

Our new wheels are still in the back waiting for us to pick up if you want to see them.

Anyway, if you do go tell them Brian sent you. :)

I've used Extreme Wheel and Tire In Richmond Hill Extreme Wheel & Tire | Richmond Hill ON Tires & Auto Repair Shop for years and Mike (owner) will recommend a few but I chose ENVY - RTXWheels with Blizzaks on my Rhodium Silver Macan S with 20" Spyders with summers tires coming in December. These will be 19" not staggered. Many say its not essential. Just deciding on Sensors or No Sensors? Hope this helps. I think he has very good pricing and stores the summers if needed. Just Say Rene sent you. Good Luck.
