Has anyone ordered from "GET My Wheels in Ca ?

They quoted me for a winter pkg: wheels (19" AG M580), tires, sensors:

"For The pirelli Scorpion Winter price would be 3199 shipped with all duties and taxes pre paid.
For the Michelin Latitude X Ice price would be 3299 shipped with all duties and taxes pre paid. "

Right now that is the best I've seen and we are having some snow today so this needs to get done.
Dealership quoted me $5400 for 19" Turbo winter pkg....

Hope to hear back from the group.

Actually, this is not bad of a price.

In comparison to locally quoted price in Toronto is $1750 Cdn for standard finish. Therefore, when you add winter tires $1200 + tpms $400 = approx. $3350 Cdn +taxes.

Therefore, if you factor in the US quoted price to foreign currency exchange, then you are pretty close to the Toronto quoted price.

I have just ordered the same M580 wheels with level 2 finish (smoked black graphite) today locally.

Did you mean www.getyourwheels.com?

http://www.yelp.ca/biz/get-your-wheels-santa-fe-springs
not many reviews.

I have never heard of them. have you searched other forums with people indicating that they have purchased wheels from this site? Maybe give them a call?

they are sponsors in many car forums, audi, porshce, bmw, tesla, nissan ...

Msaper can always use this # as reference when shopping with other online vendors.

Other well known vendors can usually price match anyone. Check out Modbargins.com, Pyspeed.com

For Cdn vendor:

You can check out to see if they will ship to Edmonton

Vossen CV4

Just installed a set of Vossen CV4s on my Macan S.
Look is probably very similar to the original 21" turbo rims, but at half the price dealer quoted for the 21".
Only problem now is I can't find a fitting wheel cap with Porsche crest to fit on.
Have ordered a couple from eBay prior, but none fits, so I realised :(

thanks bobblehead!

If I buy the new set of TPMS, do they need to be reprogrammed from the dealership? On my m3, the car was able recognize the new TPMS by itself. Not sure Porsche works the same way.

My understanding is no reprogramming is needed.

You can double check with your Porsche dealer.

Huf is what Porsche factory uses on the stock wheels. At least that's what I have been told by couple of those sites' email responses.

I guess you can ask your local Porsche dealer to see what they say. There is a chance the dealer would not know as the parts are only referenced by Porsche part #.

Anyone have pictures of MORR wheels on a Macan? They have some beautiful rims and finishes.

Unfortunately it is only a matter of time before we see the Macan equivalent of this:

So can you buy these and fit them to a Macan that you did not purchase TPM for from the factory?
Most likely not, since the tpms you buy (Huf RDE018) are only the transmitters inside the tires. The factory system also comes equipped with a communicating receiver which relay the data to the onboard computer.

I am hoping there will be a few choices for aftermarket rims by next summer. My order locked with 18's while I was trying to decide between the Spyder and SD 20's. When I called my SA and told him to go with the SD's it was too late. I will likely end up putting winters on the 18's (curious to see how it handles with all-seasons first) and getting a set of 20's aftermarket for the rest of the time. The SD's had a nice clean look to them, I liked the Spyder's too, there were just so many cars with them on and they looked to be a pain to keep clean.

I dunno, looks like he's still got a lot of wheel gap there. I think he needs to go even bigger....

(Sarcasm for all of the folks obsessing on the "I need AS to reduce the wheel gap" front)
