Vossen Wheels

Hi,

First time post here :) I would really appreciate some feedback on my Macan S

I'm looking at Vossen CV4 in 20's and have been told I have two options

Firstly

Size: 20x9 +25 (F)
20x10.5 +30 (R) [deep concave] needs a 15mm adaptor/spacer

I'm not sure of this option as the fronts are flat profile whilst the rear are concave. Thoughts?

Secondly

Size: 20x10.5 +30 (F & R) [deep concave]

Would these be too wide up front? What size spacer would I need on the rears?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I think someone put Vossens on with F/R 22x10.5 et +30 with 15mm spacer on rear. I'm not sure how the 20s would work though. Trying to help but don't have all the answers for you.

If you have 10.5 width for front - 23mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 15mm. Therefore, you probably will need at least 10mm spacer.

Those look awesome ... Would you mind detailing the exact setup for that. Would like to order something similar. Thanks in advance!
Thanks! Ended up ordering a different set of wheels initially, but when they arrived, they didn't fit despite the supplier saying they would; offsets around +30 and higher may run into problems with the front caliper depending on the design of the wheel. My shop was great, they returned those and were able to source me the setup I have now, see below:

19x8.5 RTX Envy in Matte Gunmetal +21 offset and hub-centric (66.6) so no hub rings required. Tires are 235/55/19 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2's.

Was thinking of getting BBS rims along with good winter tires, does every modern decent rim/tire combo support Porsche tire pressure sensors (TPMS)?

I have not heard of any rims that cannot fit a tpms, unless you are running a F1 race car wheel
There are rims that require a different style/angle of TPMS sensors though.

After almost 1 yr. on the stock wheels I just ordered a set of BBS CX-R in "Machined w/Black Accent" finish (20") from Tire Rack, will be 5 - 10 days for the rears to come in. Ordered the Mich. Latitude Sport 3 tires with them. Already anxious to see how they look on the Sapphire Blue Macan!

Did anyone tried to instal: 1) Porsche carrera classic 20" or 2) Turbo II 20" wheels?
As usual our opinions on this matter are subjective but IMO these 2 sets would look fantastic on Macan.
Since they are different(the Porsche usual) bolt pattern I believe that H&R adapter 5x112 to 5x130 should work.
Also these 2 Porsche wheel sets come in 8.5, 9.5 and 11" wide rims(not as Macan 20" wheels 9" & 10" wide).
If anyone knows how to to fit these wheels please let me know. I would really appreciate.

Installed them on the "S" Tues. Before and after shots.

nah, it's a nasty grey winter time, when you drive to work in the dark and coming back home also in the dark, 18'' are just fine to bit the dust:

I am about to purchase a set of HAMANN Unique Forged Anodized wheels for my Macan Turbo. They recommend 22x10.5 for all four with 295/30/22 tires and 20mm front spacers and 35mm rear spacers. I currently have the 21" Turbo Design wheels that are staggered. Does anyone think they are making a bad recommendation by going with 10.5" rims and 295 tires all the way around?

for 22 * 10.5 setup.

Front: 305/30/22 offset 6
Rear: 305/30/22 offset 14

You will need to find out the wheel's offset first and then try to match to the closest offset as indicated with or without spacers.

For me, the front with such size and weight may result steering issues. The added weight of the tires + thicker spacers may also cause your suspension to have lot of stress as well.

proceed with caution

For me, I would not go that wide for the front at all

Nice looking wheels. Personally, I would not select 22" rims. The ride will be harsher, and the cornering performance lower. Plus, new tires will be more expensive, unless you're already close to needing a new set. Consider 21" and keeping the staggered set-up. Just my two cents.
