So I did something like this on a BMW and the experience wasn’t 100% seamless.
How long does it take these to come on when I cold start the car?
I get that I cannot program the joker button to skip music, but can I program it to its normal stuff?
Will the home button take me back to the Porsche screen (will any button)

I am currently using an iCarlink 4.0 and it works pretty good, but also not perfect. The bigger screen here is a plus.

Wow!! Thank you @ferdiaz ,well done, expert sleuthing, ORDERED !!
@Santirx says the MOPC-1 played better in his application, I have one on hand to install today. When the TOS converter arrives I can also try all digital and see for myself :)
Of course we trust @Santirx, but I need to test my application, which is stock but for replaced Tweeters, Center mid and powered 10in Sub.

My kit is to arrive today ! says.....FEDEX, lol
I’m dying to know what speakers and sizes you used especially for the 3 dash speakers, did you do this yourself? Do you remember any model numbers? Thank you 😊

Please confirm your experience with the new TOS converter box. If it works better than the RCA <-> MOST box I'll plan on picking one up ahead of my install in a few weeks. Thanks

I cancelled the order .
We will have to wait on other users experience for TOS.
The MOPC has fantastic sound ……but you do loose fading , as it’s two channel in .

I don’t think that fading lost is a function of the box. I’m connected directly from Toslink output to my aftermarket amplifier and still fade is lost. It doesn’t matter to me though. At least in my case, I have that capability at amplifier level.

I'm not too concerned about fading if I lose that with the RCA..I'll look at grabbing the TOS/MOST box.. I'm a bit of a nerd and technically speaking keeping the signal digital should result in better sound quality... whether or not my old ears can distinguish is maybe the bigger question since I'm still using stock amp/speakers :D ... but it just sounds like the "right" thing to do rather than starting with digital -> analog -> digital again :p

I currently have another aftermarket Android unit installed in the Macan with a native MOST output, which I am gonna replace with the new 12.3 inch unit in this thread. Together with the unit, I have ordered one of these MOST boxes, as like you, I want to keep a full digital signal path.

Once both arrive, I will compare the performance of the MOST box with the new unit, against my current unit and let you know. Both the new unit and the MOST box have already departed China and should arrive to Switzerland in a week or two.

I eagerly wait your evaluation :)

Anyone have issues receiving their radio? I ordered mine on 11/22 and at first UPS said it would arrive on the 5th, then it changed to the 6th and now the tracking says "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible". I just want to install this thing lol.

Well..my UPS tracking which I thought was going to be delivered today shows:
Shipper created a label, UPS has not received the package yet.

Which is a bummer, but I don't have time to install until closer to xmas, so I hope it gets to me by then!

Are you guys receiving Screen protectors with your DAINAV systems , installed already, or in the box ?

Mine came with Nada

A 12.3in off Amazon does not fit right.

On the internal Mic. There is a setting for back or front. Make sure it is on front.

I finally got some time to install mine over the weekend. Overall the unit is great quality and I am very pleased! To make the install easier I was able to push all the in wires (with provided quadlock extension cable) behind the new heating vents before installing them. I feel like made the job easier.

One thing to note about the mic. Initially I made a test phone call and forgot to plug in the provided mic. However the person still heard me with good quality.... After I spliced into the factory mic (from Santirx mr12volt mod) and placed another phone call. The quality was worse with the factory mic 🤷‍♂️. Then I tried plugging in the provided mic and the quality was the same as it unplugged. I decided to leave the provided mic unplugged.

One issue I am having is my reverse video feed does not work. The car detects that is was put in reverse and the parking sensors detect. But there is no camera feed. Does anyone know if there is a setting? I have verified that the correct yellow RCA is plugged in.

Finally got my unit in! But… I have no audio and can’t figure out where the “factory setting” that was mentioned earlier to get my reverse camera working either. There’s 3 factory plugs that I can’t seem to figure out where they go or if they’re left unused (blue and the 2 mustard colored plugs). Gonna step away for a bit before I break something and hopefully someone can chime in.
