Sunshade recommendations?

Anyone have a recommendation for a sunshade that fits the Macan well?

looking for something that stows easily after collapse and obviously reflects the heat/sun well.

I bought a product called heat shield. Found it on eBay as the only macan sunshade anywhere.

It fits BUT the rear view mirror cut out isn't big enough. When putting it in place you always mess up your rear view mirror and have to reset it when you get back in. It's also not easy to stow you have to roll it up tightly.

Otherwise it works well, keeps the heat out and fits the shape of the windshield perfectly.

Anyone have any good experiences with a particular brand of sun shade for the front windshield? Lots of cheap cardboard options, but looking for something nicer/sturdier. That black leather gets pretty hot if left in full sun all day...:crying:

My dealer wanted $59 for the Porsche sun shade. Which was a lot cheaper than sun coast because of their crazy shipping costs. The sunshade itself is okay but it's quite bulky and it leaves a big gap around the rear view mirror that lets a lot of light in.

This is canvas works in CA.. They are the biggest distributor of these. This is who the dealers buy from in most cases.

I have been buying from them for well over 10 years

I purchased the one from suncoast, as I used the same one on my Cayenne and liked it. As others have stated, it's a little bulky but I like that it's still easy for fold up and throw in the back. I don't like the ones you have to roll up.

Thx for all the recent feedback, keep it coming as I'm still looking, main criteria is fit + current ownership/experience.

My dislike for the way SunCoast sticks it you (BTDT w/ them) on shipping is why I'm still searching. I know we're talking about <$100 but there are other *just as good as* options available, not a real high tech item here.

I'm a little leery of the Suncoast one, because I don't really want it to say "PORSCHE" on it. I mean, people can already see my car is a Porsche, I don't need to shout it out. In an informal pole of people at work, they thought the "PORSCHE" sun screen basically should have read "DOUCHE"...

@Spielzeug Someone previously posted a link to the OEM for the Porsche one, but I don't see it at the moment.

I am very happy with the factory one. Luckily I don't owe anybody at work any money, so I don't care what they think.

Having said that, several enjoy saying "Porsh" instead of "Por-sha" just to annoy me... So whenever they ask about "Porsh", I just tell them I'm not familiar with the brand.

59" x 27"

For those of you who have taken delivery of your Macans, can someone please post the H x W dimensions of the windshield? I wonder if this one is ~ the right size.

I'm guessing it will be too small.

Or this one which probably is much better quality (~$15) & a bit taller:

I have the Porsche brand one also, very good quality (and thick), nice Porsche branded case.

It also has PORCSHE so it shows clearly through the windshield, just the right size print to not be obnoxious.

I'm in Florida and it's been like 97 degrees lately, and it's been working great.

I think I got it for about $45 on Amazon...

I bet it will cost $55+

Not everyone thinks it is worth that price for a mere sunscreen. Even if it is insulated & custom cut for your specific model & can select a variety of colors.

Hence, my request for measurements. I will know 1st day after delivery but, prefer to pre-shop & have sunscreen on hand day 1.
