Well. Let’s see what happens here. My 22 Macan S was on the SFL Composer and was totaled before delivery. Supposed to get a bump to front of the line to rebuild my 22 with some changes; however, never given a commission number from my SA. Just emailed him to see what is up here and if they have my build or are moving to the 23.

My build went up $1,670, and while not a lot, starting to be the principle here of the totaled initial order and potential issue with getting my '22 put at front of line.

Apparently you can now chose GTS sports package without being forced to use GTS interior w green stitching.

 

I can’t get my code to load without agreeing to copy my configuration into the new model year. And the configurator isn’t fully working for me... no images of the car… exterior or interior.

Looks like the Porsche.com configurator was updated again this morning (at least for the US site). The pictures are back now (they weren't showing yesterday). Some new price changes also:

• Delivery, Processing, and Handling Fee has gone up to $1450 (was $1350 for MY22)
• There is now a "Tariff adjustment recovery" charge added to the Total Price in the configurator. It seems to be 1% of the build price before Delivery fee is added.
  I don't know what this means exactly. Also not sure if this is for all markets, or just the US.
  
  EDIT: Since I posted this a few hours ago, the "Tariff adjustment recovery" charge has disappeared from the configurator and the Total Price no longer reflects that. No idea if that was an error in the first place, or a sign of things to come.

 

Just asked my SA if my GTS will be a '22 (at the old price) or a '23. Here's his answer:

If we get a production date before September, you'll get the 2022 model. Any production we get from October will be in 2023. It takes 3 months once we get your allocation.

He's expecting my allocation next month. Fingers crossed.

I assume that's 3 months from allocation --> production start?

 

My dealer had allocations for production four months out. I’m not sure if it could be longer, or if it would be the same for MY23.

 

we still have a silver tach in the dash as standard equipment....and some magic: the tech specs say the Macan has a 17.1 gal gas capacity. The standard features show a 19.8 gallon gas tank. For all the "german precision" of Porsche, Porsche North American seems pretty confused or careless about things like specs and descriptions. No mention of window tinting at all....but all US Macan's have tinted rear windows as far as I know. Thermal/Sound glass still missing as a US option. One wonders why Papaya is a special color when it costs the same as all the metallic colors.

 

I am seeing base price increases in the U.S. configurator. It looks like it is in the process of being updated…

+$2,600 for Macan
+$3,000 for S and GTS

As noted in post #22, configurations seem to be for MY23.

I talked with my dealer person, and he assures me that the price increase is for 2023 model.

 

ACC is standard. I wonder if you can order one without it.

 

One small change I noticed for the MY 23 Macan when playing around with the configurator is that the ACC sensor is now behind the grill vs. breaking up the grill in 2022 models. Not sure if this is an actual change or just the configurator but I do like the change. One of the reasons I didn't order ACC on MY22 was that the grill had a space in the middle to make room for ACC which I personally didn't like.

I would think its the U.S. configurator....lots of discrepancies, like not showing the pano roof for the GTS even when selected, and displaying two different versions of the "Leather Package in Black/Bordeaux Red". The configurator displays an all red top portion of the seats, but the summary ("Info") displays only the seat centers are red....

 

The first picture is a European and the second a US version...so I would not bet on a change until it's delivered.

 

Your 2023 picture is from a ROW car (no side markers) - don't know if that makes a difference or not.

 

I am using the US configurator and it has always shown the European plates, even with the 2022 version. But yea that's a good point that maybe US regulation is different.

 

Anyone know of ACC is only standard in US or Canada as well?

 

I think the best we have to go on is whether it still appears as an option in your configurator.

Thermally & Noise Insulated Glass is now back as an option in the US MY23. Price is unchanged from MY22 ($920).

 

Interesting, I wonder how many people placed their order without it who wanted it?

 

I just notice the base prices have increased since 2 wks ago (mid nov). Is that what you guys are seeing?
