Okay so the intersection lighting does work on my car. Although I still got the error when I enabled it again, this time I left it enabled and ran the special function to do the headlight range adjustment. After it cleared the DTC, the error did not come back, So for my Bi-Xenon's I can tell you that little bulb does both duties, it is the bulb that illuminates when I turn the steering wheel for cornering and it is also the bulb that illuminates when I approach an intersection.
Exactly!

Cool, I am going to try this tonight with my Launch. I created a Google Sheets document which we can used as a central repository.

May I suggest that you add a column (instead of a separate sheet) to add the translation to PIWIS? I can start adding PIWIS commands in that column. Thanks.

Also, is there a way to pin this Google doc list or your post to the beginning of this thread? Maybe one of the super moderators (@oqjnLu@>@W) can help with that?

Same issue on piwis. It says it failed to make change (not in those exact words) and changes back to not active. But if I run through control unit replacement and read coding values, and then open saved coding values file on xml editor it says its Activ.

Anyone know where the Power Steering Plus, or whatever it’s called is located ?

Would like to test that on/off.
Thx
It's in there, I saw it. Check the Front End Electronics section. This may be one that requires "online" coding if its not already enabled, meaning it has to be purchased and installed with a PIWIS connected to Porsche HQ. My S has this and I love this feature, light steering at low speeds, heavy at higher.

Well, the options are share with specific users, or, restrict anyone with a link to view/comment only and I'd have to be the one to edit it.
I'm not very familiar with Google Docs and suchlike, but I can see that this is sort of a quandary. Best bet, for now, is to make sure that you (or someone else?) make periodic copies of it, e.g., via weekly downloads or something along those lines.

This part of PIWIS (2 OR 3)? If you have a minute, could you provide a link for me to see how much this costs?

I think that maybe it will be cheaper -- depending on how many times I'd use this -- to first see whether my local service dept. is willing to do this.

Pretty sure dealer will not enable the cluster light....as you are telling the car something it is not ( white dials )

Some dealers may do beeps, lowering, etc. YMMV

PIWIS 2 if you have 2017 or earlier, PIWIS 3 for 2018 and higher. Agreed, dealerships most likely won't do this for you, smaller independent shops might.

Thanks for the info (and I have a my 2018 Macan S).

I just started googling. Looks like I'd have to spend upwards of $700 to get the dash lights on? A little steep ...

@wspollack, nothing wrong with asking... the worst they can say is no...

Hunting........This is from a 911 Post, PIWIS 2 used: Maybe Don can have a look :)
At the main diagnostics menu, there is a button on the bottom row, hover over it and it shows "addt'l menu" click that, then click on "Maintenance of Vehicle Data" and once at this terminal use the f12 button to move through the menus until the "Z" menu, then scroll down, down, down until you find "Speed Sensitive Steering" you unselect that, you will also need to unselect "ServoTronic" steering and enable "Standard Power Steering" from the same list. Then click next in the lower right corner and "Save" the options. Voila done.
