Yes… It refers to additional steps you need to take, but all can be done with X431.

For example, to activate illumination of the RPM and Speedometer dials, there are two steps. You can’t activate the Speedometer dial illumination without first activating the RPM dial illumination. You are seeing the “requires additional coding” in the Speedometer dial illumination because if you activate that alone, you won’t see anything happening… it requires the additional RPM dial illumination code.

Hope this clarifies.

@caglenator I'll try this firmware fix option in the settings if loins' option doesn't resolve it.

Did the 24.05 update come with a new firmware for the OBDII BT dongle, and did you update the dongle with that new firmware? It's usually automatic, but you do see it happen.

Hello, i have in standard High beam assist, what is a different? I have checked config by X431 using info in this topic. Car is for US market, using in EU

FYI 24.06 released after contacting support and working through the feedback process. I'm happy to report I have full access to my instrument cluster now. THERE IS A TON OF STUFF in there, lots to go through and I enabled all the things I wanted.

I don't know if anyone was aware but you can enable the joker (diamond) button for ALL of the sport and sport plus stuff Including the sport exhaust

I'm just curious, why you increased the max and sport boost pressures to 1.5 bar?

Cool...get the intersection lighting enabled......that is so cool to see at night.

 

Just coded that, not sure if it's going to work or not. It did throw an error in the dash when I enabled it, from your post, I went ahead and cleared the error and reran the pdls test in the x431.

@Teddis The car already did the right and left turn light up the curb areas before I farted with it, I assume yours did as well since you also have pdls+, so I need to go see if both sides light up at an intersection once it gets dark tonight. Still light out here.

If you're in the states yes its hidden, not sure about Canada, in EU it's standard with pdls+

 

For you, intersection lights are enabled when accelerating but you’re trying to enable it when you’re stopped at an intersection? Or it’s completed disabled for you from factory.

I checked air conditioning module since it's in the "air conditioning and ergonomics" section of the book, but I may be missing this code or it exists somewhere else. Southern California air smells like a fart and I don't particularly wish to smell the outside air coming in so trying to keep recirculation active and stay active while I drive the car, regardless of their warning.

Id like to keep the recirculation on indefinitely when button is pushed

 

Only way I’ve got it to stay on is by turning the AC to on.

 

I just went through the very limited options I saw with the x431 and it doesn't appear anywhere. I also can't seem to find the vehicle in motion stuff where I can actually use the pcm while moving but there's a lot more menus in the pcm.

@justdostuff do you have a 2023 Macan? I got the same error you did and after contacting them, the guy just writes back saying my 2022 Launch isn’t compatible.

 

24.06 should be the latest, have you ran an update ? I wouldn't think they released 24.06 only to my account. I have a 22 @Loins

 

Yes, I believe my Porsche firmware is as fully up to date as I can make it. See photo below.
