Not a big deal but I am curious why sometimes when I turn my car on the "Porsche logo" appears on my PCM screen as it is starting up. However, most of the times that logo will not show up but just a logo saying "Macan S" shows on the screen. Is that a random thing?

There is a way to switch up the logos & models on PCM. I wish someone would figure out how as I think it would be neat to pay around with. MY friend did it in his Audi and got the Lambo logo. Unfortunately he doesnt know how to do it via PCM, but he said it CAN be done.

I have a question for anybody out there who knows how to use a Launch 431, to change the logo screen.
So I have a Macan GTS and had to replace the PCM in which I found a used one online out of a Macan S. Does anyone know how to change the startup logo to suit my GTS and not the S using the launch perhaps?

In the PCM…. The MFD shows Macan GTS but the replacement PCM shows Macan S… I need to change this to GTS

Yes you can change the type of vehicle on your dashboard through the launch but I’m trying to figure out how to change the PCM to match my vehicle? Surely you can do that through the Launch!

What year Macan do you have? Mines 2017I only ever see the porsche logo on my PCM.....and that is once in a while...after deep sleep

I think they updated the PCM in 2017…. When my car turns on the model vehicle is displayed, sometimes I do get a Porsche Crest but once in a blue moon
