Base macan for three months. Half city/half hi-way driving -> 23-25 mph.

Macan-S, first 600km or so, I'm getting a pathetic 13.8 mpg (17 l/100km). Almost all city driving, low speed, heavy traffic. Probably it will be better when I turn the Auto-Start/Stop thing back on (after the 3000km mark).

It will get a little better as it breaks in.

So this is the second calculated tank on the Macan GTS, this time mostly in Sport mode, 317miles, 17.519 gallons, 18.1mpg. This was much more spirited driving including trying to run down a 911 turbo, although I imagine myself a relatively tame driver overall. The highway miles help me for sure, although I'm mostly doing 80 on the highway(78 on the GPS). Way better than I expected on the GTS.

Almost 30 000 kms on Turbo model.

Avg. 16.8 mpg (or 14 L/100km)... (city mostly)
I'm sure I could get 18-19 mpg if i wasn't so much in sport mode...(20% normal / 70% sport / 10% sport+)

On road trips in normal mode I avg. +22 Mpg

I was getting 14mpg during the break-in period. But I didn't have AutoStart/Stop on, and winter conditions and winter traffic also was impacting it. Now that winter is over and I have AutoStart/Stop on it's 20%-35% better (17mpg in the morning, and 19mpg in the evening)

I took a 400 mile trip today from SF to North Tahoe and back. In normal mode in my 2017 Macan S, here is what I saw....in the flat first part, at 75 to 84 (oops) mph, mpg was a little above 24. After climbing up to 7000 feet for the last 60 miles, average mpg dropped to below 21 mpg. Admittedly I used paddle shifting down 1 or 2 gears to keep things moving!

On the way back, mpg improved back to overall of 23.8 mpg for the trip. This is better than my Subaru Outback used to get on this journey. Speed averaged 68 mph for the day. Starting mileage was 500, so still a new car. I was happy to avoid a ticket, many CHP out today.

For the first 500 miles, most driving was around town so mpg not very good and not monitored.

2,828 mile road trip all elevations to over 9k feet.

Total Drive time: 45.33 hours
Total Consumption: 26.9
Continuous average speed: 64
