Installed Crystalline 90 Tint on the Windshield Now Have Regrets

I ended up having Crystalline 60 all around and Crystalline 90 on the windshield tint installed. The installer did a great job. The tint looks great everywhere. However, I am bothered by the change in visibility following the installation of Crystalline 90 on the windshield. I have a black dashboard and prior the tint installation had no dash reflection on the windshield. Following the Crystalline 90 install - I do have annoying/significant dash reflection. Also, I believe the slanted windshield of the Macan causes the Crystalline 90 to produce milky hallo when one looks through the windshield in a sunny day. Some of it could be mitigated by using sunglasses, however I see occasionally some weird rainbow effect when using polarizing glasses and looking through the tinted windshield.
All in all I am thinking of having the installer remove the Crystalline 90 from the windshield tomorrow.
Anybody else experiencing similar issues/differences with windshield tint? Are these differences normal for tinted windshield or just for the Crystalline 90?
Thanks!

yeah, I think some of the warmer climates do tint the entire front windshield... Not for me personally but I can understand doing it where it is 100+ with extreme heat for multiple months on end. I had problems seeing out of tinted sides at night, can't imagine a tinted front all the time...

On the bike we have instant LCD tinting windscreens now. Literally my helmet goes dark in the sun, instantly goes clear in the shade. That is what you guys need!!

This is mine...

@ptanev, I had my windshield done w/ Crystalline 70. I have Agate interior (including dash). I notice slightly more reflection in the windshield, not enough to bother me, though.

The reflection I could leave with. The milky hallo/haze when looking through the windshield in sunny weather is what bothers me. It has been 2 weeks since the install. The weather in Huston has been on the cold side. I wonder if there milky haze would have been there if i would have installed it in the summer/hot Houston weather.
Thanks

Good point. Forgot to state in my post that I noticed some bubbling and haze for about 2 full days after application. Installer had alerted me this would be the case. Totally went away after 2 days in the Tucson sun.

The Macan already has heat rejection windshield glass from factory, like most new cars do.

I had Wincos on both of my Lotus Evora windshields and did not notice anything but the heat rejection from it. Those windshields are much more slanted than the Macan, also. But the specific angle could be the issue, really. Geometry is fun.

There's also a product from LLUmar (Air, I think it's called) that you might look into if you want the windshield done in something else. I definitely wouldn't keep it if it were distorting or causing glare.

Well, drove the car again today (overcast weather). The milky haze while looking through the windshield is definitely there. Comparing to my 2 other Audis, they do not have that milky haze. Cr*p!
Contacted the installer. Tomorrow morning he is taking the Crystalline 90 off my windshield. Wonder if I may have drawn the lucky straw and had some defective batch of Crystalline 90 film installed (not very likely). Now, I hope there would be no damage to my windshield during the tint removal :-(

I had the windshield tint removed this morning. I guess Crystalline 90 did not work well for me. I may still look into installing different tint on the windshield but I am going to make sure I see it first on a Macan in person before opting for it.

I think you had yours installed in San Antonio at Jay's Auto Detail correct?
Unfortunately, I did not go there. I live in Katy, TX and is about 2.5 - 3 hrs drive. I might ultimately get there some day and have him install the windshield tint.

Thanks
