How do I get Google Maps/Nav to send audio to the PCM?

On all of my other cars google maps will send the spoken directions to the car audio once my iPhone is connected via Bluetooth. Can't seem to get it to work with my Macan. I have the base audio, with Nav. Aha is set up, although I don't use it. It will give me an audible beep when I get text messages so I know it is communicating.

I did see the post from October 2014 that contained workaround tries, hoping something more reasonable has been discovered.

Not sure if you can with Google Maps?

With Apple Maps, though iPhone, it comes through very transparently and perfectly. You just have to "authorize" it on the iPhone through somewhere in setting and/or Maps and then on PCM.

Agree with @K-A,

You have to do more than just sync Bluetooth. It's in the PCM menu, can't remember if it's also on the phone. My Waze chatters at me through PCM and I have no Navi.

Mine works fine. I did not do anything other than connect my iPhone to the car via bluetooth. When I use Google Maps or Waze for navigation the sound from the apps come out on the car speakers like I am making a phone call to myself. I have no Infotainment.

Don't you need to be in Bluetooth AUX for that to work? Mine is working with Google Map but I am on Android

Mine CD-R+ is fine once connected thru Bluetooth I use iphone5S.

I want Waze on the NAV screen to alert me to LEO. Also it has way more streets and addresses that are much easier to bring up.

Thanks will try these various techniques. I do have pcm turned on and and iPhone 6.
