front leg room

I was interested in buying a used macan S. I'm 6'4" and have found the driver's leg room to be unbelievably tight/short. I have been driving German cars for decades -Audi--BMW and have always found generous front leg room
I am amazed at how short the macan is for me--basically it eliminates it from my list to consider
Does one of the seat options (18-way seats etc) provide more driver leg room?
Can the front seat be modified to be moved back--somehow?

If the front seat was re-positioned for you to have more leg room, no one would be able to sit behind you. Sometimes a car just doesn't work with one's body. My wife is 5'0" and has a great deal of trouble finding a car she can drive comfortably....in fact I couldn't get a panamara because there was no way she could ever drive the car. At least with the Macan, she can drive it, albeit not comfortably.

I would think all front seats, no matter what type, should have the same front and back adjustment, just in different forms. I could be wrong though.

I'm 6'6" and have no problem with either head height nor leg length.
I typically sit quite low and position the seat so that my wrists rest on top of the steering wheel with my shoulders against the seat back.
I personally found no difference in room between the 8 way GTS and 14 way seats i've driven.
