I am surprised by the number of used Macan's for sale, considering it is new car.
Do a search Porsche Search All Models - Porsche Cars North AmericaFor a car that has been available less than a year it just seems a fair number of people changed their mind.
Not yet but working on ordering one and have been debating that and the SQ5.
Just want to make sure before I spend 75k, I will not have regrets.
Welcome. You don't need to spend 75k to have a great S. If you want a Turbo it will undoubtedly be more than 75k. I have an S with both performance, safety, luxury options for 62k. Other members here have bought the S in the 50k range.
I absolutely have no regrets or remorse about my wise decision to buy my Macan. That awesome growl at start up this early am had me smile on my way to work.
Cars.com has 48 SQ5's and 62 Macans for sale. Not sure what argument you're trying to construct from that.I was at a dealer in Florida, and someone was trading one in. Both dealerships here in Chicagoland have one for sale.
Compare that to SQ5's which a used one is pretty rare.
Unlikely. I think there are about four or five members here who have done that. Also could be from people going from an S to Turbo
$57k on mine. Not feeling like I overlooked anything for my tastes. +1 on the growl!@Jshore - I agree, my Macan was mid 60's and I am more than happy with my options and choices. I wish there was a way to keep the start up growl on all the time!
My local dealer was providing all test drives in a 2014 Macan. That worked for 2014 and 2015, but now they are selling that model with 4k miles on it and will have a 2016 available shortly. I saw a number of low mileage 2014 models that were available but in my opinion the discount was not large enough for me not to order a new one.
To each their own, as I also looked at the SQ5. But for me there was one insurmountable difference. At the end of the day the SQ5 was still an Audi. Very nice, sporty, luxurious to a degree but still when the garage door closes and opens, every DNA bolt in the vehicle mapped to AUDI DNA. While the Macan DNA mapped as a PORSCHE. While close in function they do not run in the same emotion.I was at a dealer in Florida, and someone was trading one in. Both dealerships here in Chicagoland have one for sale.

For further reference, there are 163 Maserati Ghibli and 94 BMW X4 for sale. The Macan outsells both. So the OP should rather wonder why there are so few used Macan's for sale.Cars.com has 48 SQ5's and 62 Macans for sale. Not sure what argument you're trying to construct from that.
