What was the last service performed on your Macan? These require much more than a simple oil service. At 25k miles have you done a brake fluid change yet? As far as turning off the service minder, I wouldn't blow it off if you haven't had service beyond oil changes......Phil

 

There are two service reminder messages that can present themselves. One for the annual service and one for an intermediate service. When the car was brand new the annual service reminder was set for 12 months/10K miles and the intermediate service was set for 3 years/30K miles. The annual service is reset each time the oil is changed and the intermediate service reminder gets reset at 3 years/30K miles. At the intermediate service you're doing the oil change and spark plugs. The service reminder are reset by the Porsche dealer if you get the vehicle serviced there. If you're a DIYer you can reset it yourself with an ODBII scan tool like ThinkDiag, Launch X431, or iCarsoft. This is what I deduced was happening based on when the reminders came up on my wife's 2018 Base Macan.

 

The various service intervals are time OR mileage based.

Based on the example provided in this thread's opening post, the time interval was expected to expire well ahead of the
mileage interval - 17 days vs. 11K miles.

This spring I saw a similar message for my upcoming oil change indicating roughly 15 days or 6500 miles. I changed my Macan's
oil & filter within the 15days - and used the iCarsoft device to reset the current date, initiating a countdown to the next oil service.
