Anyone notice standard equipment change: Integrated cluster with Silver tachometer ???? Good that they lowered the price of the (useless) wireless charging option :) Loss of heat resistant glass is not good for hot weather areas. ACC standard is good move.
For the S, if the tach color was changed it happened before yesterday. I noted the standard silver tach on the S when considering white dials.

I feel like I am taking a hit here, with Macan T pricing. My car locks in tomorrow and had placed order two months ago. I built out my base with 20inch rims and leather package. Once you do that you are at macan T price range except it includes those handling bonuses and tailpipes.

I spoke to my sales rep, he is saying to order the T and wait till early next year or still roll with the base but they will not adjust the price for those additional handling options (PASM, sports chrono) and i have to pay full value to get those options.

Am I being a bit greedy? maybe. but its also poor timing as I need this car before august. Just pain :(
If 2022 thought us anything is that it's better to have an actual Macan in your driveway than a potentially better one on order
I am not a fan of the T. I don't like the silver trim, don't want firmer suspension and don't really need SC or leather dashboard. If I were you today, I would have probably gone ahead with the order, perhaps swap PASM with a leather dash. You won't miss the SC and in Vancouver, don't want the firmer T suspension.

Interesting, is it common to switch model years around April? They only started delivering N. American Macans in February? and already a model year change. I wonder when these will get delivered, could it be that the '22 model year is sold out and the '23 will only reach N. America after the new year?
MYs, can be short and start at any time. The 2016MY build window was only 6 months long, from July to the end of Dec of 2015. Staring in January 2016, all Macans were 2017MY.

You are not... I see ACC as an option as well. Thermally insulated glass is also an available option.
I think we are seeing piecemeal updates to the configurators...for example, it makes no sense that the thermal glass is an option in Canada but not available in the US.....

Same here

Locking wheel bolts are a $60 option?
While I can’t see the configured car, when I click on the “info” button next to the individual options it shows me those images. The 2023 standard interior is very different. No likey.

I called/texted Porche and they confirmed my build is a 2022. I didn’t even try to contact my SA… he’s usually off on Wednesdays and I figured he may not have the answers I needed anyway.

What does this mean? Did they take out the laminated glass option? If yes, this makes me really glad I got the MY22, I wanted this option so much. I love how quiet and isolated the interior is with it.
Weirdly noise isolating glass is still available in Aus config, and our config has def been updated...
Interesting. Yes, the glass is not available in the US 2023 models. Though per my earlier post, it seems like it could be a temporary thing and could potentially return.

Well said. I am definitely going ahead with my order.

Looks like the Porsche.com configurator was updated again this morning (at least for the US site). The pictures are back now (they weren't showing yesterday). Some new price changes also:
  • Delivery, Processing, and Handling Fee has gone up to $1450 (was $1350 for MY22)
  • There is now a "Tariff adjustment recovery" charge added to the Total Price in the configurator. It seems to be 1% of the build price before Delivery fee is added.
I don't know what this means exactly. Also not sure if this is for all markets, or just the US.

EDIT: Since I posted this a few hours ago, the "Tariff adjustment recovery" charge has disappeared from the configurator and the Total Price no longer reflects that. No idea if that was an error in the first place, or a sign of things to come.

Just asked my SA if my GTS will be a '22 (at the old price) or a '23. Here's his answer:

If we get a production date before September, you'll get the 2022 model. Any production we get from October will be in 2023. It takes 3 months once we get your allocation.
He's expecting my allocation next month. Fingers crossed.

I assume that's 3 months from allocation --> production start?

we still have a silver tach in the dash as standard equipment....and some magic: the tech specs say the Macan has a 17.1 gal gas capacity. The standard features show a 19.8 gallon gas tank. For all the "german precision" of Porsche, Porsche North American seems pretty confused or careless about things like specs and descriptions. No mention of window tinting at all....but all US Macan's have tinted rear windows as far as I know. Thermal/Sound glass still missing as a US option. One wonders why Papaya is a special color when it costs the same as all the metallic colors.
