It’s cold here this morning…… turn up the heat a bit in the wheel :)

Great, good to remember where it is.
Actually I had planned to reduce the temp a bit, say to 35°C (almost body temp), because it gets too hot on my skin after a short while, while fingers and hand tissue are not warmed up by then...in fact, the thermostat takes care that the heating power is not reduced in the warm up phase...must not tell my wife though...

My wheel was wrapped , and some padding added.
Needs a little more :)
Actually just did it as well, the temp set point from 35 to 30 and heat up temp from 40 to 35. Will give a try in a moment.

Late remark: Setpoint temp of 30°C was a bit too low, increased it to 32°C, switch-off temp of 35°C seems OK for the a. m. purpose and better for the steering wheel leather cover anyway...
Late late remark: Have set switch-off temp up to 37°C, still endurable for my fingers (also defined as baby bathtub temp, must be good!). So both temp settings 3°C lower than factory for my perceived optimum.

I have X431. So I loaded the .APK to my Android. Plugged in the obd, and paired it to Android, done. It's running updates, full operation. so nice to sit in car and browse. The Android is way faster than my tablet.

Actually the CRP919 has this send to CN home function, Launch returns a download link rather fast via email (some minutes)

Thanks to your prior post on this, I was able to change mine on Sunday with my new OTOFIX (Autel). Nice and warm now!
Thanks @Santirx for the OTOFIX recommendation

Now I want to program windows and roof via my key fob. Can anyone point me in the right directon? Can’t seem to find it on the OTOFIX.

I looked through the full tutorial and couldn't find anything if anyone has anything on this

needle sweep when starting like on Audi

It seems like there is a code on VWs and Audis to activate it in the instrument cluster called needle sweep or staging or instrument celebration. I haven't seen anyone on a Porsche forum mention this. Let me know if you find anything. I will try to take a look to see if I have such a code in my 718 this weekend.

...Nothing found as well in '23 Macan T Instrument Cluster regarding needle sweep w Launch...maybe look for it in the DME, since the speed/rpm data signals should come from there???

Btw. I searched the DME for keyword "backfire" (to activate pop and crackle in normal driving mode), but nothing found either.

Have you guys been able to code anything in the dme anyway ? I haven't on the 22
Somewhat true also for my '23 T. Before it was clear that S/S memory can be activated solely in the A/C controller, I tried some S/S related thing(s) in the DME which didn't work (with Launch)...

...Regarding needle sweep the following key words may also be checked in the Instrument Cluster module w Launch: needle, sweep, welcome, celebration, ceremony, gauge, test.

Alternative approach: For VW I found this similarity using some VAG coding tool:

Removing Seatbelt Chime

[Select]
[17 - Instruments]
[Coding - 07]
[Long Coding Helper]
Click on each of the Byte numbers in step 3) and you'll see the selectable options below.
Uncheck the box for "Seatbelt Warning active"
[Do It!]

Enabling Gauge Test/Needle Sweep
This will sweep the gauge needles through their full range automatically when you start the engine.

[Select]
[17 - Instruments]
[Coding - 07]
[Long Coding Helper]
Click on each of the Byte numbers in step 3) and you'll see the selectable options below.
Check the box for "Gauge Test/Needle Sweep active"
[Do It!]

See the similarity!?
Now if looking for the chime switch in the Macan coding table, you'll find the entry point: Kodierwert, here byte 2. Eventually adressing byte 1 (set bit 0 to 1 or if byte value is diplayed, add 1, but only in case an even value is present, otherwise hands off! - maybe this is applicable to PIWIS as well) will yield the sweep (if accessible though)...coding while engine not running...

Late rem: Here is some background for the above at VAGupdate

I took a look for a code in my 718 to enable needle sweep and did not find anything. I searched in the Instrument Cluster module for needle, sweep, stage, staging, indicator, pointer, welcome, celebration, ceremony, gauge and test. I did find a function to run a needle sweep to test the needles but this did not permanently enable the function.

I am also looking for the code to turn off power to the USB in my car after I turn the car off. I believe it will continue to provide power for 30 minutes. The reason is that I have a Carlinkit and it will continue to connect my Iphone to Carplay even though I am no longer in the car.

I found the code below that looked promising based on the name of the code. However, the value is 20 rather than 30. Also, the unit is "low" rather than minutes. Anyone know what low refers to? I guess it is possible that this code does something else but I did not find anything else that looked applicable.

Edit: I have also attached the input screen. It says "Please enter the range 0 to 255 ‘S 10 Hexadecimal Number". Does this mean the value is seconds? If so, why does the main screen say the unit is low if it is seconds? Also, if the run-on is 20 seconds, this is probably not the code I am looking for.
