I have actually run into an issue myself. I enabled the side lights as day time driving lights (the indicator lights) and all is working great and makes the car look much better and also extra safety due to the additional lights being on. however this also now illuminates the rear light bar. I was hoping there is a fix to this to turn the rear lights off but keep the front on, if anyone else has also done this?
Perhaps look at Rear Electronics, Dimming TFL as Marker Light (or Boundary Light)? Trying setting it to 100% and see what happens.

This would be the PIWIS manual coding without rules equivalent.

Using a Launch (or a bluetooth VCI'd Autel) - go to Front End Electronics

Using a PIWIS, do to BCM Vorne (which pretty much means Front End Electronics), Manual Coding without Rules:

Note that this setting totally disables the sidemarker lights. Enabling the coding item that sets the sidemarker lights to blink with the turn signals does nothing at this point. The sidemarker lights will remain off.

Will that disable as well rear side markers? Thx again!

Direct answer: No, and I can't find anything in Front, or Rear, electronics to shut those off.
Indierct answer: the lights appear red to me (I am a little color blind), as opposed to the amber front makers. Do euro laws forbid the red markers, too?

And just to make sure - it's these lights circled in orange you're talking about?

Yes, those are the lights

...We have yellow/orange turnlights here in Europe, the color is mandatory. Imported cars from the US, which will be registered with EU licence plate, need those. My Macan has integrated them in the front apron, below the lights, in the mirrors and in the main rear light band. These low rear lights from the above pic are split into a white part, for reverse drive and red for sthg I didn´t check out so far. My car has rear fog lights, could be, that they are integrated in there...

In Poland have been told that side reflectors yes, but lights in reflectors no unless the vehicle is over 2.1m wide.

Hmmm. The side lights in the rear are definitely red lights within a red reflector (the reflector that goes all the way around the lower part of the rear bumper).

I did talk to my local service advisor this week about coding options. He said that even though they have the new PIWIS, which limits what they can do, they can still code a car for another country. It takes a lot of work, though, as they have to involve PCNA and literally wear a set of special glasses/googles. PCNA unlocks certain features in PIWIS temporarily, and PCNA guides/watches exactly what work is performed In PIWIS.

Just picked up an x431 Pro mini. I've read through this thread and was able to code most things I wanted.

For the level control, it sounds like I should do the measurements in "normal" mode, not "low". Are you doing 25 mm in normal mode, then get 10mm more when you turn on "low" mode. Or are you doing 15mm in normal, then getting the additional 10mm hitting the low mode button?

Well, maybe then I wait until the car gets to Europe and do it then. No reason for P to ask questions and make the process difficult.

Coming back to the automatic door re-lock feature, which is the time setting when doors are locked, previously using the fob to unlock, but when no door was opened. In the master table the item was related to the instrument cluster (in mine set to 60s for whatever reason).
In the '23 Macan this is not the right place to change the default 30s to a desired higher value or to switch this feature off completely.

- Would have been my favorite, anybody have an idea how to???

Anyway the place to increase that time is located in the front end module.
Searching for relock yields the right entry, initially set to 30s. A max. of 255s can be set here, I've set 240s (4mins) which is better than nothing for my purposes...

This is cool...for some reason....I do not have the below available to me in Launch I hacve checked (Ver 23.82 and 23.90)
Codiertabelle: Exterior Lighting: DD lights as marker light = YES

I do have the dimming parameter.........
Did you ever figure this out? I'm unable to find the "dd lights as marker" anywhere. Thanks

...Besides waiting for a new Launch version for P,
I stumbled over an annoying PCM SDcard player feature which is auto-album-repeat. This is set active, every time one plays a new album, if not deactivated manually every time.
Looking for corresponding control options in my Launch, I didn't find a particular key to switch it to off as default, but there are many anonymous ones...

- Anybody out there, who did some PCM parametrisation and stumbled over it (especially in PIWIS)???

Anything specific we're waiting for in the new version of software for the Launch?
