Curious if the HBA has been updated? Don't mean to bother but it's been 2 and a half months. Thank you!
So im not sure as I no longer use launch however I have found a hack to enable this. In autel (not sure if others can do this but they should) I do not do an auto vin read, instead I do a manual selection and select the older Macan year. I then go into coding and it shows up with the options. I enabled this and it coded, have yet to try it out but the coding was successful so should be working. If you are doing this I would suggest only coding this option and not anything else as I do not know the consequences of coding other features while on the older Macan type. I wouldn't have thought there would be a problem but I will hold no responsibility if something does.

PIWIS is the way to go in my eyes!

I have a 2022 so my vehicle did not come standard with Traffic Jam Assist.

Here are the instructions I found if anyone see’s this and wants to check them on their 2021+ with PIWIS 3:

“Changing option is not necessary to use on engineer mode.

upper 2021 macan,It has fontcamera and LWA(Lane warning assist)...

so we can activate PDLS to PDLS + ,LWA to LKA,LKA with TJA(traffic jam assist)

We can activate LKA ,we select front electronic ,instrument cluster, front camera, gateway and power steering and F12 and first step select piwis coding and second step maual coding and select option code 6I1 LKA.

If you have safety driving, and select GJ1 traffic jams at the same time.

two safety options will be activated after coding.

First I drive LKA only ,It is used for the upper 65km only..and not used under 60km.

But with TJA,If you almost drive automatically and safely under 65km ...more than my Audi Sq5 FLY.

Macan acc is not activated on 0km but Sq5 is activated on 0Km.”
From what I know the LWA to LKA is no longer possible via coding on 2021+. due to chip shortages etc. Most 2021+ cars (I say most but from what I see in the uk its all of them) do not even coming with the auto steering wheel adjustments due to the same problem. (chip shortages).

Sorry, I was specifically talking about lowering the speed that HBA kicks in? For example I’d like it to kick in at 10mph instead of 37mph.

Yes exactly that the feature was removed for some reason on the newer types of Macan on the coding software. However if you trick the diagnostic autel or launch into thinking it's an older Macan by doing a manual selection of your vehicle instead of an auto vin read you can access the older coding database. in this one you go to front camera and the speed option for HBA is there. I've coded mine to 26MPH but I've yet to test it.

Awww I see. Thanks for clarification!

Hello,
I succeeded to activate Lane Keep Assist.
it is easy : I selected all gateway exept Engine and Airbag (because I was sure it was not needed) then do a manual coding and just add lane keep assist.
In my case I have also lane change assist (blind mirror) so I selected Lane change assist + Lane keep assist.

If I struggle to do this at the beginning it was because of this bad quality VAS6154 clone. It broke my camera firmware when I tried to code it.
Now I received my T6PT3G and not only I repaired the broken firmware but I coded Lane keep assist easily.

You can code the Speed limit sign recognization by doing the same method : select the option in manual coding.

The T6 is da king !

Thanks so much @Teddis - I succeeded switching the lights in the instrument cluster on! It now looks great.

The way I got there
  • Main Menu→Diagnose→Porsche→Manually Select→Macan then
  • System Selection→Instrument Cluster→Code/Brush Hiding→ Brush Hidden/Modified-> Dimming-general configuration
  • Then the two described values 1) Central dial white→ yes, 2) All dials white
You can observe the change on the dial in real-time when you press “write code”.

UPDATE: As others have pointed out the better way from the main menu is this:
  • Main Menu→Diagnose→Porsche→Automatically Search→Ok then as above

PS: I used a Launch CRP919X that I was able to get from Amazon for $372 (the prices occasionally drops).

PPS: Curious if at all I could do the same using the "iCarsoft Auto Diagnostic Scanner POR V2.0" which I returned after not seeing any hints that it does do any ECU coding.

...After bad experience ordering an immediately failing X431 beginning of this year, I used the this year´s black friday scheme to also order a CRP919X as well. Hopefully it will survive the initialization this time. Anyway, instead of 625€, I paid 346€ this time, 280bucks less...we´ll see...

So if I currently have Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Assist (blind spots), and I have the camera on the windshield, I don’t need anything else to activate the Lane Keep assist? Does my car have the motor on the steering wheel to keep me in the Lane? I have a 2017 GTS and using X431

Has anyone been successful in modifying the coding for LKA, dash lights or adaptive braking, etc on a 2022 or later Macan. I have been told by multiple sources that Porsche has locked these codes down beginning in 2022. They tell me the codes are visible but can not be changed. This includes using PIWIS, Launch, etc.

if you have been successful please let us know what codes you were able to modify, what model and year, what equipment was used, etc.

...I have a '23 Macan T, next week I will tell (Launch CRP919X shipping announced)...

Just received that Launch CRP919X and it works!
After 2 system and some 93 car SW updates it loaded Porsche version 24.23, claiming to contain updates til '23 models.
So far so good.

After reading out an bunch of error codes (which I have to check in detail),
I tried some easy-win ECU coding items and was partially successfull.
  • Fortunately the acoustic seat belt warning could be disabled (I have grown up driving buckled up!).
  • Same for white dial lights permanent illumination and 4 bars oil level display.
  • Expert mode enabled, nice.
+/- Tailgate switches activation delay increased from 100 to 1000ms worked as well, but only for the tailgate's wiper button, door and fob knobs still react immediately.
All set as described before in the thread.

>>>Reducing the fob button sensitivity for the hatch was one of my main goals, still looking for a SW solution, instead of mechanically reducing the button sensivity!!!
Not working was the essential
- Start/Stop last mode. Searching for the key words in the Instrument Cluster section brought up 2 settings, but none of them could be altered with the CRP919X.
Interesting was the fact that the labeling was "Shutdown" as default and "Open" as new value, instead of the previously mentioned label "Active".
I think this has to do with the new touch button console, it is simply differently coded and Launch did not fully implement it so far in their Porsche SW24.23.
The rest of the coding items was somehow related to the assignment of the functions to the panel location.
Anyway, maybe Launch ECU coding for some Cayenne or other models with touch panel is already more advanced and a solution can be found there...

In general I can say after some few hours, the CRP919X seems to be a reasonable alternative to the genuine X431. After all I am happy for my bad luck ordering the defective X431 and returning it in January. Looks like Launch tester prices are under pressure, more functionality in cheaper HW + better price in case of the CRP919X.
Will keep it.

Any idea if you can implement the Adaptive Braking (flashing braking lights on emergency stop) using the Launch CRP919X?
Really don´t know, that goes beyond my current capabilities, do you have more references where to find?
(I will hook up the Launch during the next days to correct the water temp display, if I knew where to look I will check)
