Have bought a new car Macan, and I heard a friend say to brush some Porsche hidden functions, using the Porsche engineers version of the computer brush out, which a friend can help me brush out, computer engineer, who can brush out, please contact me, and I will thank you to the way you like.

Hello,
I succeeded to activate Lane Keep Assist.
it is easy : I selected all gateway exept Engine and Airbag (because I was sure it was not needed) then do a manual coding and just add lane keep assist.
In my case I have also lane change assist (blind mirror) so I selected Lane change assist + Lane keep assist.

If I struggle to do this at the beginning it was because of this bad quality VAS6154 clone. It broke my camera firmware when I tried to code it.
Now I received my T6PT3G and not only I repaired the broken firmware but I coded Lane keep assist easily.

You can code the Speed limit sign recognization by doing the same method : select the option in manual coding.

Has anyone been successful in modifying the coding for LKA, dash lights or adaptive braking, etc on a 2022 or later Macan. I have been told by multiple sources that Porsche has locked these codes down beginning in 2022. They tell me the codes are visible but can not be changed. This includes using PIWIS, Launch, etc.

if you have been successful please let us know what codes you were able to modify, what model and year, what equipment was used, etc.

Really don´t know, that goes beyond my current capabilities, do you have more references where to find?
(I will hook up the Launch during the next days to correct the water temp display, if I knew where to look I will check)

Relative to implementing the Adaptive Braking function (brake lights flash when emergency braking), I found the necessary coding changes:
  • Switch from brush coding to rule coding
  • Select Rear End Electronics then look for the Emergency Brake Display (EBD) function
  • Change coding value from no to yes and write to program
I am not familiar with coding changes but if I can research anything relative to determining if this can or cannot be implemented, please let me know.

Regarding a reduced fob´s hatch button sensivity, I found a SW solution with the Launch.
The front end electronic´s module features a key (fob) section, where one can modify the key pressing activation delay for each of the 3 fob buttons.
- Increased delay on key 3 from 100 to 1000ms.
No more mechanical fob button sensivity reduction necessary.
In the front end module's upper menu there is also a point which addresses the tailgate button delay. This modifies only the closing button delay in the hatch, but not the driver´s door open/close button (nor the fob´s). For this I found no solution, but it is of less importance to me...

Also had a look in the DME to check for start/stop related entries. There are 2 or 3 but all of them are locked, also no chance to modify here with Launch´s current Porsche V24.23...

...Late info - There was no need to correct the water temperature mapping (x,y)-table in my '23 model T, input and out values are already indentical...
also correct speedometer readout is available in the expert´s menu, no correction applied here - values similar to GPS speed.

I did see the instructions to make the that Adaptive Brake light changes from the earlier posts. My question is can these changes still be made to 2022+ model years. My indy has indicated that those functions have been locked down on 2022+ models. Thanks for the information

Actually don´t know 100%, could be...the gauge reading is the same as in the expert´s display...was suspicious before about this reading, need to check further for data integrity during driving if it makes sense.

Is it possible to disable front and rear sidemarker lights? Planning to take my Macan to Europe and it is illegal to have sidemarkers on (you can have just reflectors). I can always put a black vinyl over them but it would be nice to just code those out. Tried to remove a bulb on fronts or replace them with LED but got the warning in the dash. Thanks!

Yeah great, first I have to assign some kind of memory to my car...anyway a clever idea...thanks!

In my little racer (Fiat 500c twinair), I have this little guy pressing the S/S button 30s after ignition on for me...there must be more elegant ways than HW...

Sorry, I was specifically talking about lowering the speed that HBA kicks in? For example I’d like it to kick in at 10mph instead of 37mph.
So im not sure as I no longer use launch however I have found a hack to enable this. In autel (not sure if others can do this but they should) I do not do an auto vin read, instead I do a manual selection and select the older Macan year. I then go into coding and it shows up with the options. I enabled this and it coded, have yet to try it out but the coding was successful so should be working. If you are doing this I would suggest only coding this option and not anything else as I do not know the consequences of coding other features while on the older Macan type. I wouldn't have thought there would be a problem but I will hold no responsibility if something does.
I just tried to use my Launch X-431 Torque 3 and I can not manually select an older model (at least I can't find where to do that). The only thing I seem to have is the auto-select of the Bluetooth dongle and that scan's the car automatically. So unfortunately it doesn't seem we can lower the HBA speed by manually choosing an older model.

...We have yellow/orange turnlights here in Europe, the color is mandatory. Imported cars from the US, which will be registered with EU licence plate, need those. My Macan has integrated them in the front apron, below the lights, in the mirrors and in the main rear light band. These low rear lights from the above pic are split into a white part, for reverse drive and red for sthg I didn´t check out so far. My car has rear fog lights, could be, that they are integrated in there...

Just picked up an x431 Pro mini. I've read through this thread and was able to code most things I wanted.

For the level control, it sounds like I should do the measurements in "normal" mode, not "low". Are you doing 25 mm in normal mode, then get 10mm more when you turn on "low" mode. Or are you doing 15mm in normal, then getting the additional 10mm hitting the low mode button?

Coming back to the automatic door re-lock feature, which is the time setting when doors are locked, previously using the fob to unlock, but when no door was opened. In the master table the item was related to the instrument cluster (in mine set to 60s for whatever reason).
In the '23 Macan this is not the right place to change the default 30s to a desired higher value or to switch this feature off completely.

- Would have been my favorite, anybody have an idea how to???

Anyway the place to increase that time is located in the front end module.
Searching for relock yields the right entry, initially set to 30s. A max. of 255s can be set here, I've set 240s (4mins) which is better than nothing for my purposes...

...Besides waiting for a new Launch version for P,
I stumbled over an annoying PCM SDcard player feature which is auto-album-repeat. This is set active, every time one plays a new album, if not deactivated manually every time.
Looking for corresponding control options in my Launch, I didn't find a particular key to switch it to off as default, but there are many anonymous ones...

- Anybody out there, who did some PCM parametrisation and stumbled over it (especially in PIWIS)???

I have a 718 and was hoping someone on this forum can help me. I have successfully enabled the relock menu in the instrument cluster and I can change the number of seconds in the menu. However, the car still relocks after the default 30 seconds even if I change the time in the relock menu. There must be another code to tie the menu to the relocking time. Anyone have any idea what else must be changed?

Attached is the code I changed to add the Relock Menu. What does the code you cited do? Is that the parameter that sets the length of time before relocking? If so, that is an option to change the relocking time but I don't think that would work to get the Relock Menu working? Did you try setting this code to 0? If so, what happened when you did that? Is it possible that setting this code to 0 causes the car to look to the figure in the Relock Menu?

I saw somewhere that some 911s will unlock if you walk by the car even if you do not hit the button on your key fob or touch the door handle. Do Macans work that way? Regardless, that feature might explain the reason for the relocking feature.

Also, has anyone in the US tried to enable the traffic sign recognition and did it work?

Yes. Same Ken. I saw discussions about the relock menu in this forum so I thought I would see if anyone else has figured out how to get the relock menu to actually work.

I also have no idea what the following codes do:

Front-end Electronics: Central locking codings-comfort acknowledgement present

Front-end Electronics: Central locking codings-radio reception acknowledgement active

Front-end Electronics: Coding value- Comfort functions - Comfort functions via door lock

All three of these are set to no even though I have entry and drive. Anyone know what these codes are for?
