I found, in the PASM coding menu, there are 4 coding options:

1. Kalibrierung Hohe hinten links {Calibration Height Rear Left} = ### mm
2. Kalibrierung Hohe hinten rechts {Calibration Height Rear Right} = ### mm
3. Kalibrierung Hohe vorne links {Calibration Height Front Left} = ### mm
4. Kalibrierung Hohe vorne rechts {Calibration Height Front Right} = ### mm

Where ### is the actual value in mm.

I think this is either the stored calibrated value when calibration was performed, or the baseline value stored in the ECU and what is used to calculate the new height when performing calibration.

If the baseline value, then, changing this value, say, subtracting 20mm should lower your car by 20mm. But I had not been able to test this. I implemented the lower stance of my car by going through the calibration process. It is OK as is, so I'm adamant to play with these values.

There are also 4 additional coding options:

1. Korrekturwerte: Korrecktuwert vorne links {Correction values: Correction value front left}
2. Korrekturwerte: Korrecktuwert vorne rechts {Correction values: Correction value front right}
3. Korrekturwerte: Korrecktuwert hinten links {Correction values: Correction value rear left}
4. Korrekturwerte: Korrecktuwert hinten rechts {Correction values: Correction value rear right}

Not sure what this does...
Thank you for posting that!

I would suggest that anyone wishing to lower their car by adjusting these values read the other thread(s) around this.

While we're dreaming:

I'd like to know how to enable my static cornering lights as fog lights (gen 2 Macan's don't have dedicated front fog lights)

How can you confirm it’s active ?
@Teddis, this is best tested on back roads (obviously during the night) when is sufficiently dark. You will see both cornering lights turning on at the same time As you approach the intersection... Then turns off a few seconds after you leave the intersection.

FYI, I tried enabling the Byte4-intersection lighting and when I did I immediately got the following error message on the cluster "Headlight range regulation defective. Service required"

Even after I disabled it and power cycled the car, the error came back. Ultimately I had to use the "special features" section of the LAUNCH to perform a headlight range adjustment and also wipe the error DTC.

My 2018 S is equipped with Bi-Xenon PDLS. I have GPS (Navigation) so I'm wondering if its a hardware problem because I don't have LKA (Lane Keep Assist) which may be the camera the intersection lighting needs.

I don't have the front camera, and I was able to activate it. The intersection lighting works with GPS apparently, not the front camera. You need front camera to activate the high beam assist.

Ok, did you do anything beyond enabling byte4-intersection lighting? I have the surround camera system (for parking assistance) if that is what you meant.

Yeah, way to go folks.

Now, I don't mean to sound like a Luddite or something -- okay, I don't really care how I sound -- but is this (these steps, these internal function names, etc.) something that I can show to my local P-car dealership, and pay them to do this for me? Or does this require my buying (or somehow borrowing) a special device, one they won't have, to hook up to the car and do this myself?

Put another way, I've been following this thread, but I don't have any prior knowledge of any of the equipment or procedures (although I was a computer software geek in a prior life). For instance, I wouldn't know a "Launch" from a "Lunch."
Yeah, I am wondering if the indy shops would be willing to do some coding for customers. The intersection lighting sounds really nice. Would also like to disable the seatbelt chimes. And I am sure I would fall down the slippery slope of other changes.....

So the question is, why did I get that error DTC?
Hmmmmm.

Do you have static cornering lights? This is where if you turn the wheel to the left, at night, with the headlights on, then another light comes on to provide additional illumination to the left/front. Intersection lighting uses the static cornering lights, but turns them both on instead of just one. Perhaps, if your car does not have static cornering lights (or does not have them coded/enabled), then intersection lighting is not available?

My lights do follow the direction of the steering wheel, I think it's called cornering lighting.

I think that video is with Bi Xenon and H8 static cornering bulbs, same as what Sterod captured.

What is the range before the intersection they trigger .....in feet.....I realize some of the NAV data may not be super accurate.....so this distance could vary.

Okay so the intersection lighting does work on my car. Although I still got the error when I enabled it again, this time I left it enabled and ran the special function to do the headlight range adjustment. After it cleared the DTC, the error did not come back, So for my Bi-Xenon's I can tell you that little bulb does both duties, it is the bulb that illuminates when I turn the steering wheel for cornering and it is also the bulb that illuminates when I approach an intersection.
