Porsche Exclusive unveils Macan Turbo with Impulse Red Metallic paintThe Macan Turbo has received the Porsche Exclusive treatment bringing a variety of cosmetic tweaks.
The last time Porsche Exclusive showed us a special Macan it was an S version and now they focused on the beefier Turbo model which packs a twin-turbo V6 3.6-liter engine developing 400 HP (294 kW). This particular car has received an Impulse Red Metallic body paint that has been carried over inside the cabin on the dials and seatbelts.
The high-performance compact crossover rides on 21-inch black high gloss Sport Classic alloy wheels and comes with blackened bi-xenon headlights. It also has the SportDesign exterior mirrors, glossy black side skirts, yellow brake calipers and glossy black roof rails and rear diffuser. On the inside it benefits from dark brown leather upholstery and carbon fiber accents on the dashboard
The Impulse Red does have a pink hue, like the Rhodium is Ice Blue in the sunlight. When I ordered my car, wanted gray but the Agate Gray is somewhat brown (my Agate Gray interior is predominantly brown), next choice was silver (bought a silver GT3 tow vehicle last week), but the Rhodium was too blue. All a matter of personal opinion.Still looking forward to my Rhodium Silver S to come in. Can't go wrong with that silver on any Porsche. The impulse red is ok but not my cup of tea.
+1 not for me.Ugly.
I agree, it definitely photographs different! I really noticed the pink hues when comparing to the red brake calipers. To each their own, but it is too pink for me and I love red (this was my old S4)@rkirshner Amazing how different this car photographs. Actually looks good in your pics, much more red than pink. But definitely NOT what my eyes saw at my dealer. It is so much more pink in person.
