it’s a car, stuff happens. hope they get you back on the road quickly
That's an absurd response. No matter the brand, this should not happen. It's not because it's a car that one should have to even think about or worry that this could happen upon immediate ownership. WHY is the question that so many P owners are asking. I just hope that upon taking possession of my first P soon, that I'm not having to write the same diatribe as Stanno57😢

Does 'it seems' mean you did this deed? If so you must look in the mirror as to who caused this. Porsche did not place this speed bump in front of you.
I think he meant hit a speed bump figuratively not literally. At first I thought the same thing as you.
Just read it as: today it hit a snag or it hit a problem…

I also thought the "hit the speed bump" mean just that, an actual speed bump. It really would've been a shame if this can happen to a Porsche which is mean to be able to go off road. Made me think of a rental Volvo XC60 I had a few years ago and I'd shamefully drive over significant speed bumps without slowing down at all. Couldn't stop smiling as only my seat belt would stop me from hitting my head on the roof.

I read somewhere that 911s do this too, but they don't feed the noise into speakers, they have some sort of actuator which vibrates the firewall/windshield. I know this sounds very stupid to have but I did see a post around here somewhere with actual details about the device... can't find it now.
