I have the Flat6 air intake and Roar Pedal on my 2020 Macan S, I can tell you the RP makes the big difference in my driving experiences. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

 

Seems like the Flat6 intake is a lot of money for just nice exhaust note and maybe negligible power boost. I ordered the PC. Thx

 

A Pedal Commander or a Roar Pedal do not increase power. They just change the way the power is applied. The Cobb AP does increase power and can be enhanced by the pedal controllers. They work as a team.

I can’t speak to the Pedal Commander but I did install a Roar Pedal and it made a big difference. I hated the delay I felt when I stepped on the accelerator pedal and that has gone away.

I also have the RP and F6 intake. The RP is fantastic. The intake gives a lot more induction noise, but no feel of the pants differience.. It is however a compliment to other improvements in HP and if you want to climb that ladder you will eventually get one. Keep your eyes open for a used one, I got mine "as new" off ebay for $115 in the original box. At that price, I was happy to buy it. At $400+ I did not want it.

 

Yes the RP or PC is a great improvement over the drivability of the car - I have PC and the GIAC Tune, this 2023 S is a mean machine now, a real Jeckl & Hyde. I dont think the air intake will make much difference especially if your unimpressed with the Cobb Salad

 

Is GIAC same as COBB? I've read that it may take a bit for the ECU to adjust. It definitely feel a little better.

 

I have a 2023 S with a Cobb Access port and recently installed Pedal Commander. I thought the tune was incredible, my best 0-60 I got was 3.8 seconds. I got the PC after seeing everyone give it crazy reviews.

After the installation, I would say I could go without it, it doesn't feel faster, it just feels like I'm beating more on the car with the super sharp and sudden gear changes. But you can adjust it like crazy, full eco mode is like pedal to the floor and nothing happens. Full race mode is just you tap the pedal 20% and it just feels like you're already flooring it, so any more on the pedal doesn't really do anything.

 

Sounds like you can set the PC many ways. So what'sthe problem? I like the idea of less lag time when accelerating

 

Will the PC or RP remove that initial 0.5s before the car's engine response? I realize that it makes the throttle curve more aggressive but I'm more concern about the initial bite.

 

The Petal Commander (and I assume Roar Predal), Definitely removes a lot of the Turbo lag.Actually a little jumpy at high setting and Sport mode.

 

not sure on specific time changes on lag, however I recently as of yesterday brought my ar in for service 10k service plus some other warranty issues fyi there is a recall to reprogram park assistance module and the Bose amplifier which fixed my ill sounding front left speaker .

I didnt want to hack the thread but the appointment was for Monday so on Friday I refalshed my 23 gts back to oem with Cobb acesssport I run 91 map bc 93 sometimes not avail by me. I also turned off the roar pedal for the weekend so I wouldn't forget on. Monday first thing..

driving the car around bone stock on the weekend was noticeably different almost boring in my opinion only because I got accustom to the increased response and overallperfromance of the two mods working symbiotically in my car.

the old saying that you down realize how good something is until it is gone holds true here . for those who haven't made either or both mods to their mayans are missing out on simple DIY good and safe bang for your buck .

just my two cents and dealer performed all necessary repairs and programs without an question to if or how the car is modified .. I don't abuse it and have never launched it just some spirited driving from time to time ..too old to be careless . plus we have other vehicles to be more sprinted this is my perfect daily..

 

I have my PC set at City+2, more than enough. I to do not abuse my 22 S eithr. Love the response. The Cobb seems to kick in at higher RPMs, nice for passing on the highway. Yes, much nicer ride.

 

Too bad pedal MONSTER doesn’t make one for the Macan.
