Unit is sealed.

 

I haven't done this on the Macan, but have on other cars with HID lamps. By removing the lamp and electronics from the unit you should be able to clean using dilute windex, warm water and a variety of old fashioned cleaning tools like pipe cleaners. Rinse with warm water and air dry.

 

I've done that on a motorcycle headlight.

 

I've got a terrible amount of what appears to be scratches or cracks on the INSIDE of my headlights. The surface is nice and smooth though.
