Considering the Carrara white option on 2016 macan. Anyone with side by side picture ? Thank you.

Was looking at some pics, another way to put it is the flat white is a warmer, softer color, less harsh. The metallic is definately cooler with blue undertones as you mentioned. Personally I wouldn't be comfortable ordering Cararra without comparing side by side at the dealer. Here's a couple comparison shots. Cararra Metallic is the color on the Cayman GTS at the bottom. Standard white is the Boxster Spyder. Just by looking at pics I prefer the Standard, it looks more classic Porsche to me, but would need to see for myself in person if I was ordering now.

Do a google search and someone did post side by side photos . Keep in mind that the Carrera White is not the same as the older version with the same name .

I am nota fan of the newer white variants from Porsche . The last one was a huge fail called "cream white" .

White is free . Why make life complicated ? No matter what version of white one chooses it will always be vanilla .

Yup. My SA emailed me today that my Macan just arrived at the dealership. I will fly down this weekend to pick it up. :D

How is your Macan so far?

Cararra vs White

I've did some picture grabbing of the differences with the new Cararra color in various light conditions on the 911 and looking at the Macan.

Check out the URL because the photo is just a snapshot of the LINK.

This is my Itemtopia App Macan file (I use it for my cars and stuff) and I am now using it to track all the notes before the 2016 Macan arrives. This way, I can remember what I am researching and learning here on this forum. It's a great forum, but this free APP helps me.
