I think that Isudar is the good product without external box.
I'm interesting by isudar but it's possible use optic modul to have good sound ?

I see Mr12V solution but the quality screen is important for me. And there are a lot of problems.

 

@Marcus13190 at this point there is no perfect solution out there. What you are asking for doesn’t exist yet.

Isudar had better graphics, but audio is analog, hence is going to suffer. A lot of bugs and bad customer support

Mr12Volt connects direct to MOST25 and produces OEM quality music. But graphics are not as good. Mr12Volt doesn’t have as many issues as Isudar.

I was early adopter for both of them and the number of issues Isudar had during its early days was astonishing. And very painful to resolve with the bad customer service. Isudar is OK now because of all the effort some of us put to get them to fix issues. Getting firmware updates is a nightmare. Mr12Volt is customer service is better and the truth is that they have not had as many bugs or issues at this point of their development as we found with Isudar.

Coming back to the topic, it comes down to what is more important to you. So it seems you have some reflection to do on what is more important.

Is it audio quality or is it graphic?

As I said many times, in my case, I’m not willing to sacrifice audio quality for anything else. Hence why I had all these workarounds with Isudar so that I could route my audio directly to MOST bypassing Isudar. Isudar just displayed graphics. But CarPlay loses a lot of functionality in that setup.

Yes, Mr12Volt graphics have lower color depth, but PCM3.1 screen is not the greatest either. So, in reality for me, video is good enough with Mr12Volt.

So in summary, my opinion:

Isudar: Video = Very Good / Audio = Unacceptable
Mr12Volt: Video = Good Enough / Audio = Very Good

That’s how I made my decision.

Now, you could wait until Mr12Volt solved video issue, which they said they will do with next hardware iteration. But that’s going to be late 2023/2024.

 

Thank's Santirx. i saw your post about mr12V. Isudar have only 1 card pcb in the pcm and it's really simple to install.
I don't know Mr12V.
On your Mr12V post at first it's seem a good choice but during post there are lot of problems and it scares me.
I've had isudar card in my pcm and i've had problem on the pcm and now the pcm have problem. I think that isudar card is very hot in the pcm.
Now i look for a good product.

Question when i listen music on USB with mr12volt it's possible to have android auto at the same time?
On isudar it's not possible.

 

I just installed the Isudar 2022 PCM3.1 upgrade to CarPlay on 2015 Macan S. What was nice is that I only had to install the board inside and on top of the existing PCM board. I didn't think it would fit with the Sirus radio board inside the PCM, but there was just enough room to connect and it has worked great. The only downside so far is that the down arrow key on the console won't search on the radio. The up arrow key works, but not the down. Not a big deal because I use the pre-programmed stations and can scroll through them from the steering wheel or touch the screen.

Are you able to listen to FM and/or XM while using CarPlay for navigation? If so, do you lose the nav audio or does that interrupt the radio audio? Didn't have much luck searching, but may have missed it.
