George from Burger Tuning emailed back. They will have a JB1 and JB4 solution soon. This is what he had to say:

"We have done a lot of work on that motor as its found in the same spec on the Audi A4 B9 2.0TFSI. We busy with the install guide now and have a unit on the way to one of our dealers who owns the Macan as well and will make sure fitment is the same as the Audi range since the layout is basically the same.
Expect it to be on our site in around two weeks. We releasing the unit with a base map that is 310hp and 320ft lb in JB4 format and 290hp and 320ft lb in JB1 format."

And a rather dumb question, but what does that do to our warranty?
Thanks!

Not dumb at all. Probably voids powertrain/drivetrain issues when you take it back to dealer with it plugged in. When going in for service, remove the tuning box and dust the engine compartment off.

Just sayin'...... ;)

Please post your experiences later. Did you get JB 1 or 4? Was the install quick and easy? All of the connections on the top side of the engine compartment?

This topic has been discussed multiple times on the golf R forum but you cannot run OBD2 split connector since there will be signal interruption according to George from burger tuning.

If you don't want to lose your other OBD2 connection, then your only option is to run JB1 instead which doesn't tap into the o2 sensor and obd2 for AFR.

With this engine layout, you can install JB1 in 10 mins at most. I ran JB1 in my golf R for few months before upgrading to JB4 and the achievement was great as well!

Car is bone stock with stock exhaust except I threw in the burger tuning turbo muffler delete that I kept from the golf R. The turbo muffler delete doesn't do anything really so you can ignore this.

I am currently accepting donation for my dyno run *just kidding* I will run a dyno once i hit 2000km and a fresh oil change. I am at 1300km at the moment.

The increase in torque is very noticeable

If I am not mistaken, the Jb4 with base map adds 4psi from stock. Just like most modern turbo cars, peak torque is probably early but I will let the dyno to verify it.

I never came across to dyno the golf R since i only had it for few months before I sold it.

Great that means the final release must be near...??

Can not wait to let this software boost my Macan to 300+ BHP maybe even better since I run 98 Octane fuel. The race exhaust is on the car and KN filter is on the way beginning next week.
I am curious over the capacity of the fuelinjectors how much can they take. When I pumpen up my SAAB 9-3 210 BHP HOT to 280 on a flexprogram for both E85 and 98 gas I had to go up to 640 spec injectors. Can anyone Shek some light on this. Seldon does a manufacturer put to good things in a car if it is not needed.
