Brembo GT and GT-R Front Brake Systems for the Macan

Hi MF,

We wanted to share two applications that Brembo has available for the Macan. The GT system comes with 16" 2-piece discs, either cross-drilled or slotted, with 6-piston cast aluminum calipers. You can select from red, black, silver, or yellow GT calipers. The GT-R system is a step up from this; it comes with 16" 2-piece discs and track inspired forged aluminum nickel plated 6-piston calipers.

These systems are a great upgrade for anyone seeking increased stopping power or if you would like to replace your CCBs.

Hi Julie, after doing Brembo monoblocs on my bike I knew what to expect in terms of pricing lol...

I actually find the stock calipers pretty outstanding considering what they are stopping but would love a good rotor/pad setup. Can you do just rotors/pads without the full caliper?

Hi Paul,

We just reached out to Brembo about your inquiry. You would need to go with the complete GT kit for the rotors to perform correctly. The GT rotors are designed in conjunction with the GT calipers which are 405mm x 34mm and angled slightly narrower than the stock calipers. Using the stock calipers you would need new brackets and the pads may still cause rubbing issues.
