We had the same problem, were told the same thing about needing to 'seat' the brakes etc by slamming them on and not babying them.
Took it in 3x to the same dealer, they would apply something to the brakes, it would go away for a few miles and come right back.
First time I took it in, they said they couldn't hear anything, it squeaked as I pulled it out of the service bay when I picked it up! Needless to say we don't go to this dealer for service anymore.
Eventually they replaced the front pads. This was when it had 2k-3k miles on it. It's now up to 10k and it's starting to squeek sometimes again, although nothing like before.
I was in the same boat with it being my wife's car and her not being happy about it....
The only positive out of it was we got a panamera loaner for almost an entire week while they waited for brake pads...which seems ridiculous but I didn't care, I was driving a 100k+ hybrid panamera
