Is the consensus that not considering price, the normal Bordeaux package looks better than the extended bordeaux leather package? The extended seems a bit more complete, but perhaps too much red?
In my opinion, yes. Its too much **** red! Maybe on a weekend 911/cayman car I would consider, but for a daily driver I don't want to be bathed in red all day; especially since I live in TX with brutal heat and its just adds the the 'feeling' of being hot.

Its a shame too, because extended leather adds a massive amount of luxury to the cockpit with almost everything in stitched leather. I wanted red interior on mine, but would not even consider the extended leather even if it was the same cost as regular leather based on the amount of red it added.

I seriously considered getting the extended full Bordeaux, but I liked the cockpit's stealth with all the black at eye level and below. The red only appears where your arms or body can make contact. I almost regretted the Bordeaux on the arm rests and center console, but once I received it, I was smitten. I kept wishing they'd just make the seats red and leave the arm rests black. I thought it was going to look tacky but I was way wrong.

I have absolutely no regrets with staying with the regular leather package.

It would be nice on the extended if you could have black leather another level lower and it would be perfect. Arm rests red, below that black. Same with just a bit lower on the dash.

How dark is the Bordeaux? I don’t want a red interior but I really like the pictures that show the Bordeaux as being much darker.
I’m thinking either a chalk/Bordeaux or going with a black interior, possibly with either chalk or a blue exterior. I don’t wash my cars often so chalk is appealing. A photo Mr. Wolfe posted of his interior showed it really dark which I loved. What’s the real world color like? I’m trying to go to a dealer to see it in person.
