Fwiw I spoke to an APR rep today and they state the tune is still in development. Pretty cool they have an upgraded HPFP so this thing can run a more aggressive e85 tune.
Is the Macan able to run e85?
The overwhelming majority of newer vehicles are good up to around e25. e85 is another story while some cars/trucks/SUVs are flex fuel and some are not, big difference.

My tt-rs handles e85 bone stock. The 2.9t can run a stage 1 tune on a stock hardware, their stage 1+ requires a hpfp upgrade they sell. The tune is not flex fuel, it's an e60-85 tune.

I think it still may require removal of the ECU.
At the bottom their page:

I got the ultralink to install the tune myself at home for my 2019 Macan S. ultralink was 129 then the tune itself was 899.

To be completely honest, I personally do not feel much of a difference in power... The S is plenty fast and unless you are planning on upgrading the turbo, fuel injectors, meth, HPFP, intercoolers... I would save the money.

Thank you! It's insane to charge 899 on top of the Ultralink

This is with the EA839 engine right?

It does seem to be a pretty substantial upgrade at least on paper for a stage 1.

I do wonder how safe the tune Is… I have been thinking of getting my 2.5 GTS tuned with APR as well. Insane numbers for that engine.

Interesting because on the dyno chart, the gains seem massive starting at 2,000 rpm.

Is there a difference with Sport mode on/off?

It feels faster in Sport once you get moving - but I was hoping for more low end torque. I guess at the end of the day this is still a small SUV with a restrictive exhaust setup. I suspect a downpipe etc would help a lot but Stage 1 in other cars I've owned was a much bigger difference.

I find that when I drive the Macan, I press sport and manually shift the car. I have to admit, once the boost comes on, you feel the punch in acceleration but thats only if you push the gas pedal more aggressively. For the most part, driving around town, the boost barely comes on which is why it is a smooth ride.

I do wish there was more umph on the low end but there is really no fixing that. I was thinking about upgrading the turbo to the GTX3582R which i think is the same as pure turbo's 750 but this would only make the mid/high range even more aggressive.

I have not ecu coded the boost gauge in the dash to 1.6 - 3 bar so I'm only seeing the max out at 15PSI. I wonder if we actually get 20PSI+ with the stage 1 APR ECU tune...
