I have a 2019 Macan 2.0. has anyone has a APR Plus tune performed?
Is the Macan able to run e85?Fwiw I spoke to an APR rep today and they state the tune is still in development. Pretty cool they have an upgraded HPFP so this thing can run a more aggressive e85 tune.
If you go to a APR dealer they just hook up to the car port vs taking out the ECU. First line above: APR Software Upgrades are available through Authorized APR dealers. The dealer will connect to your vehicle, and install the update.¹I think it still may require removal of the ECU.
At the bottom their page:

Thank you! It's insane to charge 899 on top of the UltralinkI got the ultralink to install the tune myself at home for my 2019 Macan S. ultralink was 129 then the tune itself was 899.
To be completely honest, I personally do not feel much of a difference in power... The S is plenty fast and unless you are planning on upgrading the turbo, fuel injectors, meth, HPFP, intercoolers... I would save the money.
This is with the EA839 engine right?I got the ultralink to install the tune myself at home for my 2019 Macan S. ultralink was 129 then the tune itself was 899.

yes this is for the EA839 engineThis is with the EA839 engine right?
It does seem to be a pretty substantial upgrade at least on paper for a stage 1.
I've had APR tunes on many cars with no issues. I'll let you know if my S blows up hahaI do wonder how safe the tune Is… I have been thinking of getting my 2.5 GTS tuned with APR as well. Insane numbers for that engine.
I should have listened to you but I couldn't control myself - I agree I do not feel a big difference at all.yes this is for the EA839 engine
It feels faster in Sport once you get moving - but I was hoping for more low end torque. I guess at the end of the day this is still a small SUV with a restrictive exhaust setup. I suspect a downpipe etc would help a lot but Stage 1 in other cars I've owned was a much bigger difference.Interesting because on the dyno chart, the gains seem massive starting at 2,000 rpm.
Is there a difference with Sport mode on/off?
