Indeed, that was I did.
here is what I can see on the boot image menu: nothing

but I can see document and images when I use the files manager

something strange.
except if it only recognizes a specific type of images or size, I have no explanation for not seeing them in the boot image menu

The file needs to be in a *.bmp format in order to work as a boot logo.

I made the one in this link for @Teddis and it worked.

Try it and let me know if it works... The Turbo S match the second screen Turbo S logo...

How's the performance so far for anyone that has had this for a while? My biggest issue is the CPU is a few years old and pretty low performance even for a basic Android tablet. I think for non-laggy split screen performance it might need a G99 or Snapdragon Gen 7/8 processor.

I would say that they are no big issues with performance for my basic usage.
but I am starting to experience more and more issues: the CarPlay is failing now around 1 time by week and it seems it’s more and more often, huge issues between what is happening on the standard app and what is happening on CarPlay, and now I am experiencing small glitches when the back camera is showing (1-2 sec then it’s back to normal). And the big issue with the fans, the pipes are so narrow that no wind is blowing outside them. I opened it today to check if it was on me, but everything was properly installed.

In short: the screen looks good but hardware and software are crap from 3-4 years ago.
not worth more than 200$ in my opinion.

Thanks. Yeah it looks cool but I think I'll wait to see what the Gen 2/3 versions have. I was an early adopter of an Android headunit for my BMW 7 years ago and while it still works, the OS is outdated, sound quality was poor compared to the built-in and hardware can't really keep up with the newer apps.

On this side, my impression on the sound is pretty good but I have standards speakers and not Bose.
the right screen is totally useless and unpractical but it gives a good overall design.
All in all, the unit is « working » but does not justify the premium just because it’s for a Porsche.
Look at the first videos from santirx. I think the 1st one he reviewed had exactly the same pipes system and hardware except the 2nd screen.
a shame they did not upgrade it properly as it would have given a really good unit.
and not responding for support, is not acceptable. No documentation, no passwords… not what I expected.

I will write a longer review, but so far very good here. CP connects fast and stays connected. Sound quality through BOSE is excellent. the 2nd screen is for PASSENGERS.......dunno what all the fuss is about. I have live TV, Netflix, whatever rolling there. On my own, I bring up RealDash app. I have LOTS of air through central vents....not sure ....maybe you do not have the flappers set correct.
Did you also have Battery issue?? What happened there ?

I changed the battery so not sure if it was just coincidence or related to the unit. Perhaps not !

That’s good. Does your unit say “Black gold” on screen 2 ?
The 3 units that I know of , that are working well, are flashed to “turbo S” on screen 2.
I am not sure if this is a firmware upgrade or not. It is almost a 2GIG flash.

Indeed the « black gold » provided by the vendor.
I do not have the update software
