It will probably take about 2-3 hours if you haven’t done so before.

Correct. Wish I was able to have separate out for Bluetooth, for like headphones or something.

My old cheap fyt android headunit (brand atoto) had two bluetooth modules inside so maybe yours aswell but the software doesnt allow it yet

One great takeaway from the video, don‘t put the clips in until you are ready to install head unit, when you’re testing the unit you don’t want it to pop into place, you just want a temporary mount

Also, as someone else mentioned being able to connect bluetooth headphones to the second screen would be a great touch. Not sure how Porsche handles that aspect on their OEM passenger screens.

and....having done many of these....add some Super lube to those clip locations, in case you need to pull forward ever......you will be thankfull

• Steering wheel controls: The right scroll wheel simultaneously adjusts both the instrument cluster and the music track. This is likely because the software is Cayenne-based, not Macan-specific.

so it looks like ACARDASH is willing to pursue a group buy for the Dual 12.3 screen. I am trying to negotiate better pricing based on minimum of 10 orders. I will be posting an interest thread shortly, and if there is enough interest, a group buy in the classifieds.

You may need to go to the SWC app and reprogram steering wheel control buttons. This was definitely not happening in the unit we installed in @tallkyle Macan.

But what did happen was when we installed it, the volume control wasn’t working (no up/down/mute control). We reprogrammed these buttons in SWC app and got it to work.

I will try this.
on my side the volume control was working smoothly.
but I have a pcm4.0 unlike the 3.1 you installed. Perhaps related to this

How are the fans under the screen?
Do they blow a little, as before or not at all?
Can you show a quick video with a paper to show the result?

‘any chance to explain how to change the « android » boot image and the black gold label on the right screen?
