I agree. Not rocket science. And you hit the nail on the head with your comment, patience.

I agree with @Max75. Don’t bolt in the ducts until quad connector is behind it… it won’t fit otherwise. Then the rest will go in with ease.

It looks daunting, but if you break the installation up in sections, then is easy.

Yes.
I tried to options:
1) from the boot image parameters but I can only see the current boot images and no option activable to access usb
2) the file system but I guess I need to copy the files to an hidden folder which I can’t see

so stuck with the 2 options.
I can take photos if you want

Indeed, that was I did.
here is what I can see on the boot image menu: nothing

but I can see document and images when I use the files manager

something strange.
except if it only recognizes a specific type of images or size, I have no explanation for not seeing them in the boot image menu

I would say that they are no big issues with performance for my basic usage.
but I am starting to experience more and more issues: the CarPlay is failing now around 1 time by week and it seems it’s more and more often, huge issues between what is happening on the standard app and what is happening on CarPlay, and now I am experiencing small glitches when the back camera is showing (1-2 sec then it’s back to normal). And the big issue with the fans, the pipes are so narrow that no wind is blowing outside them. I opened it today to check if it was on me, but everything was properly installed.

In short: the screen looks good but hardware and software are crap from 3-4 years ago.
not worth more than 200$ in my opinion.

I will write a longer review, but so far very good here. CP connects fast and stays connected. Sound quality through BOSE is excellent. the 2nd screen is for PASSENGERS.......dunno what all the fuss is about. I have live TV, Netflix, whatever rolling there. On my own, I bring up RealDash app. I have LOTS of air through central vents....not sure ....maybe you do not have the flappers set correct.
Did you also have Battery issue?? What happened there ?
