Exactly! When you buy a Porsche and want performance, it doesn't come cheap. If you want to save some money, go buy a Bimmer.

My advice would be to order the car you need. That's what is great with Porsche: build the car to your exact specifications. Discuss options with your SO who will drive it, not random Internet users.

When you come to the Macan Forum asking for performance oriented advice/opinion, you're not in a discussion with random internet users.

I am really not a big fan of the GTS look. GTS on the head rests, GTS on the dashboard, GTS on the side blades, GTS this, GTS that. It just feels so... gaudy? And most of it cannot be optioned out.

The GTS is not just a badge on the dashboard, on the headrests, or on the sideblades. You can definitely option those out if you feel the need to. What most people here are saying about the GTS, you can also read from the many reviews/publications available elsewhere. They're definitely not from random internet users either.

You don't have to stay and buy local. If I were in the market for a Macan, I would look high and low nationwide for an available GTS allocation. And I'll wait to get one if worst comes to worst
