Is your GTS stock? Porsche says it is 4.7 secs 0-60 mph (4.5 secs with LC). You did good!

 

BONE STOCK. This is my only attempt I bet it can cut a 4.1

 

AutoTopNL timed the new GTS at 4.35s

So yeah, the GTS is a 4.3ish second to 60 vehicle.

 

This is to 100 km/hr. 0-62 mph. So Add 0.1-0.2 sec to my time.

 

Hmm wonder why there is a difference between the performance numbers of the GTS on the Canadian website vs the US website. HP and torque are the same but the Canadian numbers are .2 seconds slower. 4.9 to 4.7 with SC vs 4.7 to 4.5 with SC

 

Maybe something with the standard features in Canada that the US doesn't have?

 

You can tell the engine is detuned around 5-6k rpm.
also.. if you look at the bottom left corner of the dragy it shows my time was 4.04 s with the 1 ft rollout compared to car n driver 3.9 (same method).This was my first launch on the car as i only have around 1k miles and i just pulled out of a gravel shoulder and gunned it. Crazy town

 

Geez, I can't believe it is going to be faster, in a straight launch, than my old 2009 911s. But that is why I got it. Cheers.

Our client's 2020 Macan S with a turbo upgrade did 0-60 in 3.85 which I'm assuming the GTS will be able to hit with a simple tune. I'd be curious to compare 30-80 to control for any launch deviations, etc. I was running Dragy on a 991 Turbo S today, 0-60 in 2.4! The Macan does really well in my opinion with the 0-60 run, even without sport chrono it can launch pretty good.

Yes will do. I dont think ill be anywhere near that. My macan does 4.25s 60-90 now. Ill rip 30-80 tomorrow. Whats a stage 1 first gen macan s run 30-80?

Was looking through old pull data last night. This 0-60 is my 2016 macan S with the cobb 93 map. It did not have sport chrono. You can argue its slower because it doesnt have the aggresssive launch mode. However, even the 60-90 mph is slower by 1.5 sec (4.2s for the 2020 gts vs 5.7s the tuned 2016 macan s)! The butt dyno dont lie.

 

What does 0-60 (1 ft) 4.53s represent?

Apologies, but a bit new to interpreting these data sets... everything else is clear to me.

 

This is the 0-60 calculated with the 1 ft rollout standard (how magazines do it). The first 12 inches or rolling dont count in this measurement-its like the staging beams at the drag strip. The actual 0-60 starts as soon as the vehicle moves (in the top center). The difference is the rollout time. Its an indicator of traction.

 

Some recent 30-80MPH for comparison sake:

• 2020 Macan S (Stock) 6.79
• 2020 Macan S (Stage 1 Tune) 5.52
• 2020 Macan S (w/ Turbo Upgrade) 4.56
• 2014 911 Turbo S (Stock) 3.51
• 2014 911 Turbo S (Bolt-Ons & Cobb) 3.18

 

I think the 20 S is much faster than my 2016 also

That’s what I was wondering. First time user ( so pardon the error). I’ll try again. I assume I’ll get 4.2-4.4

 

Anyone have verified 0-60 or 30-80 times for a '17-'18 GTS? Curious because I just traded my '18 GTS for a '21 GTS and this thing feels like a monster.

 

It should. Doesnt it have 434hp vs the 375 for last year’s model? 22 more lb torque too.

I bought my GTS in October and last month, I hit 0-60 in 3.8...friggin fast. Those are Carrera S numbers👊🏾😉

 

I bought my 2020 GTS in October as well. I want to get one of these Dragy things and do some launches.

 

Here was my best run. I think I usually see more 3.85 - 3.90.

This was F6 Air Filters and Cobb AP (Stage 1+ Map). 2015 Macan Turbo with 93.

Has anyone tuned the new 2.9L on a GTS to get to the Turbo 434 Hp or more? I think Burger has an engine tune for the RS5 engine that will work now and Racechip has one as well. Not sure Cobb has it yet.

Got 3.9 on my first launch control attempt (3.8 with C&D style 1-ft rollout omitted). Stock '21 GTS. Excessive downhill slope, so take it with a grain of salt I guess.

 

Here is my first run, also invalid because of excessive slope. Its moves like a bat out of ****.

 

Found a more level private driveway. Now to give my transmission a rest. @MyHair, thanks for sharing, and it really does hook up and go. I was careful with break-in and was pleasantly surprised to see the difference between, say, 75% throttle and 100%. Doubt I'll get a chance to use it much but nice to know what it can do.

 

Yep, I felt like I need to move my seat forward a bit as I think I slid backwards and my foot eased a bit off the gas peddle for a split second. The things we learn.

 

Not sure I can do better than this. Cool air, but sun had been warming the road for a while. No wheel spin at all. ‘21 GTS, stock, 93 octane, A/S tires, launch control. These Dragy devices are a lot of fun.
