The warmer weather is just around the corner and I wanted to get your thoughts on which wheels to use for my all-season and winter tires:
1. 20" OEM Macan S Wheels in Vesuvius Grey
2. 20" ART Replica R98 Wheels in Gloss Black

I currently have #1 as my all-seasons and #2 as my winters, but was considering changing it to #2 since the black wheels don't stay black in the winter with the snow, slush, salt, dirt, etc. Not sure if it's worth it to get the tires remounted. The tire sizes are same for #1 and #2. Feel free to use the poll or comment below.

Normally, I would use a cheaper replica wheel for winter as wheels can take a beating during that time of year. However, I do like the looks of the black replica wheels and would be tempted to run those in summer. If you decide to run the OEM wheels in winter, be prepared for the possibility of having to powder coat them at some point as the machined faces may see the clear coat start to eat away. You should get 3-4 winters (pending mileage and conditions) before that would be the case.

I'd leave them alone. Crap black matches winter, and the bright wheels signify spring and summer.

I voted for the reps as your summers. I'm going through a similar dilemma with mine and in your case think the black wheels work better as a summer. Plus the OEM wheel is much easier to clean than the spyder replica.

On my 2015 Macan S, I use the original silver 19s for winter (narrower, taller sidewall). For summer, I got 20s (wider, lower sidewall). The silver finish in winter works for me, because road salt spray will turn anything a silvery-gray color within minutes. The gloss black works better for summer IMHO.
