I took my 2016 S CPO into the shop last week (evidently I am just out of factory warranty), for a thunk noise I get when I turn sharply on an incline, such as a driveway. They indicated that they attached "suspension ears" and identified the source of the sound and replaced several subframe bolts. Unfortunately, the sound is still there. Per the SA, this noise is not covered under CPO but they ended up paying for the cost of the repair, which I appreciated. So, now that the thunking is still there, I am a bit concerned about what the cause of the sound is and what future problems I may have. Besides the noise, the car runs and drives fine. I am thinking I should reach out to Porsche NA to open a case with them to see if they will do a goodwill troubleshooting and fix for me. The senior tech that rode with me last week indicated that this was the first time he had heard this sort of a noise from a Macan. Thoughts/recommendations?
Thanks.
