I am also playing the waiting game here in the US. Completion date was Nov. 25th 2021. I was supposed to receive the car Jan 28th. He told me the update will probably be done that same week, but now he said he cant even tell me when that can be done or give me any new info on this update. 😞
Okay - I was starting to think it was just me.. same.. My dates are almost identical to yours.

I think the dealership and my SA have by now blocked my e mail and phone numbers coming in.. now I get nothing, no reply or response.. just a big empty void of silence..
Although the last e mail did say.. "We will let you know when we have any updated information" .. so maybe they simply do not have any new information in the last week.

As new potential customer to a Porsche Macan, your above ordeal does not seem to set well. If they had any kind of customer service and as client, they would answer your questions, especially if you have purchased the vehicle. Is this how this particular dealer treats people, or Porsche in general?

good news, they did provide an update .. "sorry we have no update" from the business manager.
Well at least I know my e mails are not blocked, and they did provide an answer, they simply do not know and are at the mercy of the rail shipping company..

Mine in Californ
My 2022 GTS arrived at the dealer in California on 28-Jan with stop sale hold due to this software issue. I was told it affected all their 2022 Macans. Last week they told me approx 30 days; I checked in today and they didn't have a further update. Can't wait to pick it up!
I got news today that my car will be ready next week. Fingers crossed.

I'm in the same boat. I completed my Porsche Delivery at Porsche Experience Center Atlanta on 8 Feb, but I had to leave it there due to the stop sale. It was bittersweet because I was able to see my Macan, but I had to leave it there. I hope I get can pick it up next week too! FINGERS CROSSED

That’s a gigantic tease! So you have to go back to Atlanta PEC for a second pickup?

From my SA today— Porsche Canada says that the software has been submitted to EPA Canada, and they are expecting approval and dealership delivery of the software to be the 2nd week of March. However, “…that will be the worst case scenario and [his manager] is positive that we should get it done before that.”

hopefully this is the case, but I’m not sure how they know it will be approved by the govt… if denied, it could be dragged out a fair amount longer.
As an update to this --
I got a call from the manager of the dealership this morning saying that they received the updated software (as approved by EPA Canada) today. Apparently our Macan should be ready and available for pick up by the weekend -- as long as there are no technical issues with the software upload to the actual vehicle.

I hope the same is happening in the US. Mine has been sitting at the dealership waiting for this update before I can take delivery.

I agree, I sure hope the US dealers are doing the same thing.

I have gotten zero communication from my dealer regarding this stop sale or what this issue is.
Same! I contacted my dealer today and received no update. I have no idea when I will be able to pick up my car...so frustrating! It feels like Porsche is being so secretive....does anyone else feel this way?

Just trying to piece it together myself --
But realizing that Porsche is part of the Volkswagen group, and the software issue has to do with the emissions software, I'm wondering if there is added pressure/incentive to keep it quiet following the VW diesel/emissions issue from a few years back. (For anyone interested, Netflix had a great episode of "Dirty Money" about this)

In any case, it seems that Porsche has since cleaned up the software for the MY22 Macans. I'm just hoping that in doing so, they didn't cut power from the engine through updated mapping.

Hopefully not… it’s not the most powerful engine (4 cyl) to begin with!

I just received word my car is getting the software update now. They said I could come to pick the car up tomorrow. Curiously when I asked what the problem was there was an awkward silence followed by "i don't really know, but I could see if I'm allowed to talk about it".
Interesting 🤔...but thanks for the update...hopefully we all can pick up our Cars soon🤞🏾

Cargo Ship Full of Porsches and VWs Is On Fire and Adrift in the Atlantic (thedrive.com)

It could have as many as 4,000 Porsches and VW’s on board
