I sourced these with the intention of painting or Powder Coating Satin Black. While I’m working to finish up a few projects, these will be sitting in the queue, so figured I’d list them for sale as-is for the time being. This set would be ideal for the person who would like a Satin Black set from me, but doesn’t want to wait a few weeks before I can get to them - you could certainly take these, and bring them to your local Powdercoater to have them refinished and looking new.
If not sold, I’ll get to them eventually, and make them look brand new in Satin Black, to be added to my listing here for $2,800 (Wheels and Caps only) : Satin Black OEM 20" Spyder Wheel Set + Caps
Structurally, they’re in excellent condition, with no cracks, bends, vibrations, etc, to the best of my knowledge.
Cosmetically, they’re not the best Spyders I’ve had... but they’re certainly not the worst either. Expect to pay at minimum $1,000 more for a set in perfect condition with pretty new tires. Trust me, I’ve sold a few...
Photos below will detail their overall condition. One rear wheel has a dime sized (probably a little smaller than a dime) scrape, which is the worst of all the blemishes in the set. I’m happy to call/video conference to verify condition.
They’re mounted and balanced with TPMS on Pirelli Scorpion All-Season Tires. Tread currently measures between 4 and 5/32”. While they can be driven on, I would certainly recommend replacement sooner than later.
