Porsche’s upcoming Macan crossover will initially reach the U.S. with a 3.0-liter V6 and a 3.6-liter turbo unit according to leaked slides from a dealer meeting.
The images, which leaked on Jalopnik today, include other information about Porsche’s upcoming plans. The Macan is supposed to start at $52,000 for the less powerful model while the turbocharged version will cost $75,000. Output for the two engines wasn’t included in the slides.
According to the slides, new GTS versions of the Cayman and Boxster will include a 15-hp increase, slightly redesigned front an rear fascias, 20-inch Carrera S wheels and interior upgrades. Those models are supposed to debut during the Beijing Auto Show in April. Images of the 911 Targa suggest the vehicle will have a fully-automatic roof for improved driver comfort.
Porsche hasn’t confirmed any of this information, and the image of the Macan is also suspect because it seems to be a rendered picture from AutoBild. The Macan is expected to debut during the L.A. Auto Show in November, so there won’t be long to wait before some of the official information becomes available.
