Sounds like you've had quite a marvelous experience with your Porsche ownership. I'm sure many here could agree the 993TT is/was a dream car. I sure had a poster of one on my wall in my younger days.
I would say you made a great choice in the Macan turbo. I too investigated other sport wagons and small SUVs back before I decided on my Macan. The Macan just seemed to check all the boxed that I needed for a daily driver with a sports sedan type of feel, comfort/luxury, and just enough space to fit all my outdoor gear. I couldn't be happier.
