So i did my first spark plug change on my wifes 2016. I thought it was a very easy job for a porsche. I was expecting much worse. Removed the passenger side three first. The second one back came out having oil on the threads. All five others were clean. Having done this on my FJ Cruiser with oily threads meant the valve cover had a slight leak

should i be concerned? I can post a pic later today

How many miles?
If it's just a bit it'll be fine, if it's flooded in oil you must replace the valve cover gasket.

Pretty common for an DOHC engine. Probably the reason why the maintenance interval is as short as it is. Yes, it's a minor leak in the gasket. Just something to keep an eye on.

Don't you mean "...replace the head gasket"?

You're correct....My mistake. He's probably got a leaky inner gasket on that cylinder.
