Not sure how long you have on your warranty but you’ll have to check their work. Took 7 appointments with 2 dealers to fix the leaks. Hopefully you have a better dealership than the one I bought from.
Good luck. Keep us posted.

Yeah, I called Porsche NA and they told me my extended warranty is still active until Aug 2025. Dealer is very busy. Got the earliest appt on Wednesday after next week with Porsche downtown LA. Hope they can fix it…
Update on Mar 29, unfortunately Porsche downtown LA told me my extended warranty is warranty extension instead of extended warranty. So oil leak was not covered... So I dropped off my car. $311 upfront inspection fee and see how much it will be fixed...

15k if the dealer does the engine out. Significantly cheaper if they do the 2 bolt method. Cheaper than that if you can do a 2 bolt fix through an Indy or yourself. Good luck
Thanks. The dealer told me my case does not need the engine out. They didn't specific how many bolts. but these are the parts they said is leaking "valve cover, front timing chain cover bolts, and o-rings for cam adjusters." $4250 seems a lot for this fix.

And this isn't part of the recall issue with the 6 cylinder cars?

Got back from Porsche NA. Will not offer help on this case. Wondering how likely/necessary valve cover and o-rings for cam adjusters need to be replaced. The dealer only send me one photo of the issue but not photos to show the leaks around these parts. Asked dealer for more photos and haven't got response yet. This made me not fully trust the dealer.

Called Porsche downtown LA. Asked for more photos. The service guy told me these areas cannot take photos when I asked him. Then he might feel this logically does not make any sense. Then he said if he will try to get some photos. How come they find out where and which parts leaked and cannot get photos to show to the customer? This does not make any sense and I paid $311 just for inspection.
