So my 2018 Macan S is at the dealership (dreaded transfer case - at least it's under warranty) and they gave me 2023 Cayenne Platinum Edition as a loaner. I'm really enjoying the black/bordeaux red leather interior. I've been considering upgrading to a GTS anyways, and I built the one below. My Macan is volcano grey and I wanted something a little less conservative this time around (probably a green, blue or red) and really like the copper ruby metallic.

I'm not good with color matching so... do people think the exterior copper ruby metallic clashes with the bordeaux red interior?

I'm also debating PTV+ and sports chrono, but I'm not going to track this so not sure either are worth it. I think PTV+ may be helpful in snow but I currently live in Southern California.

Both Copper Ruby and Bordeaux are warm red colors so having both together isn't exactly complimentary. I've seen Copper Ruby in person and find it to be very unique and attractive.

As you are buying a GTS, I recommend both Sport Chrono and PTV. Sport Chrono for sure for the mode changing wheel dial alone. PTV is less obvious but if you ever encounter low traction situations like snow, having the limited slip differential is useful and only way to get that is with PTV. It also reduces the turning radius and, IN MY OPINION, really helps this top heavy car pivot around curves. But there are many who don't believe it's worth it or thinks it eats up rear brakes which hasn't been the case for me. Both of these options have been debated ad nauseum with dedicated sticky threads covering them so I should probably stop at the risk of having my reply moved.

I don’t think they compliment each other. Personally I think it makes sense to choose between a bolder exterior color or interior color, not both. I like the CRM as it’s a newer color for the Macan so it stands out more, without being over the top. And people look more at the exterior. I’d go black or gray probably for the interior.

But at the end of the day, all that matters is what you like. You are driving it, you are paying a significant amount, so get what you want.

Completely willing to compromise. Although I might be more likely to change the interior than the exterior.
Copper Ruby is a beautiful color . I have seen two of them in the wild under different lighting . It goes with almost anything else but red (which rules out Bordeaux or the carmine GTS package ) . The cars I have seen had black , the black /beige , and might even work with agate .

Not my personal choice. Also, unless your intent is to keep this Macan forever, should consider how the color choice will impact resale value.

Stay with CRM. Try black or black/beige interior, exclusive design sport wheels in high gloss black (centers are silver), black calipers, black roof rails for balance, and uncheck the raised air suspension. Very sharp, unique Macan!

Ouch!!! It looks like you dropped an entire bottle of red wine inside and outside the car. Not my favorite.

Okay! Consensus is overwhelmingly (unanimously?) against this color combo! I'll probably change the interior to black or something, I'm not a big fan of the lighter interiors.

Ah, not a good choice IMHO.

Planning on keeping it forever ? Then it matters less.

Otherwise, you are wading into depreciation and resale issues as it won’t be a very attractive combination other than for a narrow group of potential buyers…
Yeah not worried as MUCH about depreciation (although certainly I shouldn't ignore it), I really just wanted opinions on if the colors go together since I'm a bit color blind. That said, the unanimous opinion seems to be it's not a great combo.

Thanks! Yeah I think I'll likely go black interior. It's a little boring (it's what I have now), but I like dark interiors bc they don't look as dirty as quickly.

So my understanding for the raised air suspension is that it only affects the height when you're not in sport mode (giving you more clearance), but that in sport it drops to the same height any GTS has. Is that incorrect? I clicked it bc I plan to be in sport most of the time, but assuming we move back to a cold weather state (which is likely) the extra clearance would be nice in the winter.

Its incorrect . The entire car is set to a higher ride height similar to the Former Macan Turbo or current Macan S (with AS) . It makes it .. NOT a GTS .

Agate might also work . Although this car is Carmine and a Cayman GTS I was very surprised how much I liked my friend's car and choice !!

Okay, so I changed to a standard black interior! I took the money saved and added PTV+ and sports chrono. I also clicked off the raised suspension since I was incorrect in my understanding of what it is (thanks Hokie and Yrralis!). And I added the roof rails, which I had intended to add initially but just forgot to click
